The more you listen to it the more you will appreciate it, i didn't care much for it on the first 2 or 3 listens as i could not find any melody  But it gets a lot better after a couple of listens. I feel like to fully appreciate the song you need to watch it in the context of the movie, i didn't care much for a lot of ASIB songs but after seeing them in the film they clicked

The "hold my hand, hold my– hold my hand, my hand" repetition is such a CLASSIC and signature Gaga refrain

No, you just don't have taste. It should be telling that all of the people outside of stan world who have heard the song have loved it, especially in the context of the movie. So I again I reiterate, it is Gaga fans who are the problem, not Gaga.
