I mean... Gaga fans always have high standards and that's why they're always melting down over stuff. That doesn't reflect poorly on Gags, just those fans lol. Nobody outside of stan world is talking about an underperformance, especially not when it comes to awards. There are tons of songs that win Oscars and whatnot that weren't big hits, though being a hit def. helps.
