HMH just needs a better chorus and she'll be great 

 

 

Even just having better mixing and production would make it 100x better, right now it stands as a cute soundtrack single.

 

Let's just hope the movie does really well and the song can become a nice cultural moment. We'll know in two/three weeks if this will ever do something

Shallow/ARUTW stans are so insufferable  We get it, HMH doesnt hold a candle next to those songs but saying its one of her worst ballads is too extra in my opinion.

I am ok with ASIB because it’s raw and real this one isn’t. There’s a difference between “let me sing a random song about this movie” vs “let me sing this song about my Hollywood debut where I can highly relate to the character”. There’s no inconsistency. The same way I wouldn’t want an empty pop album I wouldn’t want an empty AC album.
