Yeah, I kinda felt a hint of something but meh, it feels like she’s acting, this is just an empty of emotion and commercial song. During the ASIB sessions she was highly involved with the character so the songs have real emotion. This could be a Celine track for all that matters.

 

Before so and so people start talking **** about the people who didn’t like the song, like you wanna like fine, but don’t act like a poor little victim and then go and shame people who enjoy the carefree pop songs. Not everything has to be deep and full of emotions (as if this song has any) sometimes we just want something fun to listen to.

I'm just so grateful that she's still an icon. I'm all about criticism, but I literally can't criticize her (minus R Kelly....)

 

But seriously - almost all of her peers have started flopping or aren't making music. And she stays working hard and winning. I never thought she was gonna come back after artpop

It's the melody and the emotional performance the aspects that make the song her best ballad. The lyrics are not a thing out of this world.
