Exactly, Joanne is probably one of her most polished eras. 

From the Promos, Marketing, Merch and especially the tour.

 

In contrast, Joanne's brand and identity are stronger than ARTPOP's.

Joanne’s era was perfect tbh, the album is a bit meh to me. There are a couple of great songs on it but as a body of work I always thought it was severly inconsistent and disappointing. However I love and enjoy all of her albums overall and I would never find myself saying either one is bad or not needed.

Doesn’t The Cure count? Wouldn’t she have been filming ASIB by that point? Not her fault that the movie and her performance were so good that the studio pushed the movie further into the year for Oscar consideration. Well, I guess it is her fault.

Pop wasn’t the same in 2016/17. ALL the mpg pivoted. Beyoncé only just returned to pop radio. Katy she did the pure pop thing, only adding rappers to every single in vein - and as we know she never recovered. Ever. It was so important to do the right thing for MPG when streaming took over.

Well yeah but then you have a weak song like Million Reasons getting 300 performances while songs that we actually love like ROM or 911 getting just 1 performance. Or her completely ignoring Bloody Mary's slayage last year. Of course it is going to sting.

Promoting BM is pointless in the long run. It went viral and it should stay that way. 

She can always include it on her next tours but creating a mini era because it went viral is unnecessary.

TikTok songs tend to downtrend easily and it won't get popular anymore.

 

Million Reasons is the era's saving grace and they have to stick with it.

Because PI was too jarring as a lead, Ayo is unintelligible, Joanne (piano ver) should've been pushed earlier.
