I.'m glad Gargola didn't attend to the Grammys this year, that show was a snoozefest, Lizzo saved the whole thing in the last minute.

is this gif real :rip:

Honestly if Encanto wasn't nominated, Gaga probably would've won.

I still think she has chances for the Oscar, but it'll probably go to the RRR song

Considering the grammys deadline is usually September 30th, and the movie’s is due for an October 4th release, they’d have to release it 4 days in advance. Idk how likely is that considering the OST might spoil the film.

It’s messy if it gets to be eligible only for the for the 2026 Grammys as the movie release hype will be gone.

Bobby can pull the same trick he did for L4S, he released the cassettes early so it was eligible

I agree, it's absolutely ridiculous :rip: Beyonce submitting, being nominated, winning, and breaking the Grammy record in Dance/Electronic is a ******* sham :deadbanana4:

did they change the rules for dance/electronic? I remember Alice not being eligible for 2021

Beyonce’s payola.

Seems like it :michael:

Diplo’s reaction :skull: He probably thought she had no business winning an EDM award

I was scrolling through TikTok and BM sped up came up, my 13 yo cousin asked me "Who sings that song?" i answered Lady Gaga and he said "Oh, that's why is so popular?" :jonny5:

In Bobby we trust (not always :fan: )

Honestly it’s not anybody’s fault if they wanna spoil the movie for themselves 4 days before it opens in cinemas.

They should jsut release it tbh.

Assuming that there are a couple original song(s) on the J:FàD soundtrack and the release date doesn't move (although I don't think Oct 4 is like fully locked), they will probably follow the same rollout as Shallow/ASIB – releasing the single a week before that makes it eligible for 2025 and the OST (and other album tracks) for the 2026 ceremony.

How glorious — ASIB lasting two Grammy cycles, and winning four Grammys, two years after the film’s original release :alexz:a moment most pleasing

Ikr :jonny5: and consecutive visual media wins. The way she doubled her Grammy count just with one project :jonny2:

The AOTY snub and SOTY/ROTY losses for Shallord and Allahways really hurt tho :emofish:

Just signed up to be on the WB advanced screening email list

I’m gonna get my ass in an advanced screening of JFAD if it’s the last thing I do

It's going to be hard to win AOTY in the future :jonny6: Success, Acclaim and Narrative doesn't seem to be working with the recording academy.

She'll be fine, as many people said the long list of writers might be the reason holding Beyoncé back

J:FaD will be competitive for the Visual Media categories as long as it's not a bunch of panned hag songs everyone rejects ala Hold My Hand :cm:

Tbh, I still sincerely doubt J:FáG is gonna have original music. For all the "we would know if she's working on music, with producers, etc." we say about LG7, same goes for original music for the film. And the songs would've been written and demoed before the film got greenlit, which was eons ago. And presumably the musical angle was chosen before Gaga entered the picture- They would've had to have something to build the script around. Nothing's impossible, but I'm absolutely not getting my hopes up. :toofunny3:

Not sure why people want original songs on JFAD, the last thing she needs in her acting projects is original music where they can award her there again instead of acting.

If Shallow was eligible in 2020 instead of 2019, it probably would've won ROTY and SOTY, tbh. So there's a downside to releasing early

Yup. Just imagine the nuclear meltdowns if she were to stomp left and right and become the clear frontrunner just to lose BA and win some song consolation prize :toofunny3:

This too :giraffe: Tbh, unless J:FaD is all original music, has an absurdly acclaimed soundtrack, and it smashes the charts, there's literally no way it will be win-competive outside of its genere field. Sorry, but she ain't gonna magically win AOTY with any ole movie tie-in. :rip: If anything, it would be wise to push a great album out in early 2024 and do dual awards campaigns in the Fall/Winter.

They will premiere it on Venice or Cannes, it will be spoiled one way or another. They can either go with the Shallow way with a single in 2024 and album in 2025 or just all in for 2025.

Hand is strong for an OST, but weak for Gaga's standards.

(that does not include fomos being desperate to use it's performance for their propaganda for a homosexual'd album)

I think she must do one hell of a performance of it at FADscars, to make people see how good a song it is.

They need to get in line with the age 40+ radio listeners in France and Sweden!
