Harry's album was organic in all of those areas. Constantly went viral on TikTok, sold-out residency at one of the world's most iconic venues, and it just didn't feel forced like Renaissance. Bey stans need to realize their own actions are hurting their faves. 

You need to look up the definition of organic. All the radio and playlist payola that boy paid for is not organic. 

 

Beyoncé didn’t deserve to win this year either, but acting like Harry is some unique organic artist to justify his industry award win is weird

Gaga will never win AOTY. She has incredibly huge support from the Pop field but not enough overall for her to win AOTY. ASIB probably could have snatched but we know it was blocked and this is all hypothetical anyway.

 

And to be honest I couldn't care less about her winning it, especially after last night's winner.  There are many legends without it or without a single Grammy win. She already has won 13, she will surely get more, she has an Oscar, etc. Her main focus musically should be creating strong, cohesive, bodies of work that stand the test of time and live up to her talents and potential. Now that will make her a legend.

Yes, I came across it several times lately.

The alleged importance of "main field" Grammys is as fabricated as "solo #1s". It's the same bullsh*t moving of the goal post. No one outside of microscopic pop culture spaces gives af. Gaga having four AOTY nominations is already a testament of her hugely impactful discography.

 

Gaga doesn't really have anything left to prove her worth as a major pop artist. All I personally expect from her to work toward in the future is making seismic shifts in the sound of her studio albums like she did with Joanne and working toward the rest of EGOT. I don't know if it's a symptom of stanning her for the entirety of her career, but there is literally not one Grammys or Oscars ceremony in the future that is going to stress me out moving forward.

Why is everyone blaming Bloopop? He produced Bieber's Sorry, one of the biggest smashes of last decade. Bloodpop didn't ask Gaga to SCREAM theatrically on HMH like she's doing Broadway. And he didn't write those basic ass lyrics. Clunky lyrics + weird screaming/affectations are on Gaga!

Erm... he didn't win for any of his songs, he won for his album.

You can't radio payola an album.

 

At the end of the day, tho, it's about perception more than anything else. Harry Styles isn't any more of a songwriter than Beyonce is, but the Academy saw far less credits on his album so they assumed so.

Erm… songs make up an album. Today, in the music industry, an album can be carried by a handful of songs. Harry received major radio play for 3 songs. Even one of the anonymous Variety voters said that they were voting for Harry because he heard his songs everywhere and that meant it was AOTY to him. The biggest issue with the Grammys is that AOTY is such a vague category. It could mean so many different things. 
 

Anyway, we’re only a month away from Gaga’s Oscar performance
