I know this is premature and the Oscars are months away, but what other song, person, or movie could give her a run for her money at BOS? A Disney movie, possibly, but the song would have to be big like We Don't Talk About Bruno.

Dotpopa911 did not even hint the release date. It was LG Philippines and gagainvisible that hinted the date. The account tweeted the release date at 11:56am EST that’s before Gaga’s announcement and LG Philippines tweeted it yesterday too. I did not see any accounts besides those two that hinted the date. Maybe they are all connected. Idk.

It depends. For instance, Titanic soundtrack was all score music plus "My Heart Will Go On". Maybe it'll be the same for Tup Gun?

Soundtrack songs usually take time to grow as people see the movie. They probably aren’t too concerned with a Friday release as it’s not going to debut at #1 anyway.

I wonder why they chose May 3, a Tuesday, to release it.  I guess it kind of confirms they don't plan on it debuting high. I'm guessing they're planning on it peaking during the movie's run in theaters, sort of like Shallow.

 

I'm keeping my chart hopes for the song low, but that cover has definitely increased my excitement for the song itself — I have no idea why, but it's giving me 80s/90s diva for some reason.
