She should film a little indie movie directed by Bong Joon-ho right after Joker. A 1-2 punch just in case. It could be her own "Midsommar-Little Women"/"Ex Machina-The Danish Girl".

Her acting career is fine. My only opinion on it is I wish she take on more serious/non-Gaga like roles. That’s prob why I enjoyed HOG outside #that accent.

Honestly though, Hold My Oscar's been super stable and doing ok for the flop it's considered to be. One of the biggest soundtrack songs in recent years.

 

I know I say this a lot but paparazzi is her best song and video and had more commercial potential than bad Romance. Her first and only successful ARTvideo.

I'm so curious to know if it will actually win an Oscar in the end. 

 

The first day HMH came out I defended it. I don't get how you can call it a bad song, I get the "crafted in a laboratory - too classic soundtrack ballad sound" theory so you can call it robotic or anti gaga or the intro ruins the song but the truth is it was made to win an Oscar and if gaga wants to approach a song with a robotic approach I better stop hearing any speak of redone.

I don't like Fernando for his productions at all, the songs slap thanks to the power of Lady Gaga but the instrumentation and vocal productions are not up to par with the rest of her discography. The songs sound like they're capped at 128kbps and her voice has a grainy quality to it, from Dance in the Dark to Marry the Night. Born this Way  literally a nightmare

Yes, so enough complaining of songs crafted for status. Maybe this time it wasn't a cocaine fueled binge hit-creation sesh which was good for a few years, but let's be thankful she can still cohere to the idea of GP friendliness and learn to forget her "artistry" when need be

I just listened HMH again after more than 1 month. Did her team replaced HMH on AM. It sounds different from the original version they released. It sounds more haunting with those echoes i hear.

1000%. Born This Way is her best album despite him, not because of him. He is only capable of producing low-res noise which is why his tracks have such poor recurrent streams. Meanwhile high-fidelity deep cuts like BM and GH are washing. #ThankYouDJWS

 

 

The only instance where his signature NOISE works in favour of the song is HML. 

 

I actually wouldn't mind another dance album, I'd just like it to go harder than Chromatica and with more experimentation.
