Yeah the music should be in the final stages if they're filming next month tbh. But a part of me still thinks they're going with covers like Cheek To Cheek.

I have really mixed feelings about the #LG72024 & #LG72025+ debate. On one hand, 5 years without original music is way too long for an artist like Gaga, who has never really been inactive bar the 2013 hip hell & 2019 Meth Labs fiasco.

On the other, she hasn’t said anything even remotely close to hinting at an album (besides the sus ‘Force of Nature’ motifs) & she’s been taking longer in between studio albums since BTW to ARTPOP (2 years, 3 years, 4 years, respectively). I also don’t think her label would be hounding an artist of her caliber that she needs to release an album. Still, 5+ years is a long time and you know what conversations have been had. Hell, if I was an Interscope exec in charge of Gaga, I would’ve been on Bobby’s ass for to release something post-ASIB in 2019 cause she was wasting so much hype.

 

Long story short, we have no idea. I think the “she wont go that long without releasing an original album” and “she hasn’t hinted anything close to a new album” are the strongest arguments on each side. Time will be the ultimate truth teller I guess

It would be a serve if she dropped LG7 in April 2024 (summer BAWPS only), do an extended promo cycle with 3 singles, and immediately start the FAD press tour in October. A year of non-stop slayage, we ain’t ready

Gaga dropped a lot of hints about her future during the House of Gucci press tour. 
She mentioned that she would do a super hero movie if the script was good. Technically, Harley Quinn is not a super hero but she is in the same super hero comic book world.
 

She also talked about writing her first Broadway musical and about having a kid.

There would've been at least a demo or two before it even got greenlit. No way a studio would approve an artsy comic book psycho-musical without knowing exactly what the creative team wanted to do. The music would've been figured out long ago.

I'm not sure why some people act like L4S didn't exist..

For her label she still released an album last year that got promoted and ended up AOTY nominee winning 2 Grammys, they don't have the ATRL-stans mentality 'solo album', 'original new music album', that was still a music project released with promo + this year she released a soundtrack song that is very likely to make it to awards season and completed her stadium tour.

 

Interscope doesn't have any urge to have her release something unless Gaga wants to do it first and in 2024 there will be the soundtrack release even if it's just a few cover songs.

 

At the end it all depends from what Gaga wants to do and what she has ready.

it's impossible saying what are her plans specifically but my feelings are that once she's done with the movie she won't release or start a new era, I'd love to be proven wrong but that scenario sounds more realistic to me, also because she obviously hasn't been in the studio in order to have a full album ready.

 

The best scenario of new music release in the upcoming 2 years are some droplets.

Ngl, it's pretty weird to always see how some stans react at the mere thought of her settling down for a bit when it's completely natural and rather commonsensical to expect her to take a brief break sometime down the line when we consider the fact that she's been hustling non-stop since her debut and also her own thoughts on the topic over the past few years 

 

Like yeah, Gaga IS a highly ambitious and career-oriented woman but that doesn't mean she has no life plans of her own outside of pursuing her professional goals 

 

Anyway, re: LG7 or any new original music for that matter, no way to know for sure but wouldn't be surprised if it's a while before we hear sumn. Would love to be proven wrong obviously

she will do a dark s*x dance era with 5 singles and ellen promo before any such nonesense. she gave up her global audience, when Act 2 in August 2014 could've brought her back into the fold.
