monsters LITERALLY came up with the narrative that bloodpop forced her to make the music on chromatica and it makes zero sense. gaga fans' obsession with removing her agency/autonomy as an artist is so damn weird. just say you didn't like chromatica; that's fine, but don't invent a story about how gaga was forced to make it to make yourself feel better.

Yeah honestly if Gaga isn’t going to release new music until 2025 her streaming numbers will take a hit. I think it’s time for Gaga to pull a selena Gomez and just have a droplets era. Just release 1 or 2 individual singles and maybe do like 2 or 3 collabs. At least that would keep Gaga streaming numbers afloat.

Honestly, considering that super robust eras are a thing of the past and no veteran mpg is even trying to do them, I don't see why she couldn't do a lower-key release before J:FaD, let it ride through the movie hype, and tour in 2025. Assuming it's another return to form, 2/3 singles, a major performance spot, and some good marketing would be sufficient.

This. There’s no reason to do heavily promoted, robust eras in the age of social media and streaming. Fans will complain, but I’d rather get a solid album before J: FAD then have to wait until 2026 or something.

I think Gaga fans need to come to terms with the fact that as she transitions more heavily into acting, streaming numbers are no longer going to matter to her. She's pushing 40 and is entering a new phase of her career so her success is not reliant on her streaming numbers. Saying someone pushing 40 should "pull a Selena Gomez" is embarrassing and would make her look bad. A collab with a genuine artist every now and then would be fine, but anything more than that in an attempt to stay relevant is very Nicki Minaj-ish, aka desperate.

The problem is that Gaga is trying to cement herself as a touring artist. 
Every album she releases going forward needs a massive tour. 
 

There’s no way that she would be able to make an album, release it and go on a world tour between March 2023-July 2024. 
 

The only album we could potentially get next year is a soundtrack for a Broadway show, if the rumors of her going to Broadway next year are true

Then I guess this is something I need to get use too then.

She doesn’t need an album to tour though. Chromatica Ball happened two years after the album dropped. She can drop an album in Q4 2023, and then launch a tour whenever is convenient.

I guess that is an option. 
 

We will probably find out what she is doing in March/April. Whatever project she is doing has not been announced yet. 
Imagine if she really just spends the whole next year and a half just doing Vegas shows and selling Haus Lab products 

No album, no Broadway show, no tv show cameos, no other movies. Just nothing 

I honestly still Stan what my made up plan said. If she isn’t going to release music until 2025 or 2026 plus do a  world tour attached to the album. It won’t hurt her to do a droplets era before JFAD era begins.  At least we know once JFAD soundtrack comes out gaga will promote the **** out of it and will start her Oscar compaign for leading actress for Harley and the focus will be the soundtrack music. Plus JFAD promo won’t start until fall 2024.

Monsters just need to realize Gaga is an elder in the music industry at this point. Just because some stars of the past had huge, extensively promoted and long eras in the past won't mean Gaga will in the 2020's, and with a film career. I don't think albums need to be promoted for over a year anymore. Gaga could host SNL, release a lead, and then a couple music videos and call it a day with an era. If she wants to tour the album she can always announce dates ahead of time and plan another 20 date tour in the future. The idea that albums should be promoted for a year or more nowadays is just a ridiculous expectation outside of newer stars that are establishing themselves.
