Joanne was a disaster, it single handedly destroyed her international fanbase especially in Europe and Asia. Thankfully she gained back Europe thankx to ASIB.

Also she was approached for ASIB before Joanne/Superbowl. So Joanne leading to ASIB to justify its underperformance is just delusional and excuse because Joanne stans can't stand on their own merits without brining up ASIB success and somehow co-relating it to non-existent Joanne success.

Love Perfect Illusion and Million Reasons though.

Joanne is easily her weakest album (sorry ARTPOP haters), but it did what it needed to do for her career.

Why are you picking on a Chromatica era tho? She dropped the album when the pandemic and BLM movement was taking over the world. Was she suppose to walk around the empty or burning streets for no reason whatsoever in the Chromatica outfits? Lmao. Let this poor era breath a bit.

:chick3:

Because it's her worst "era" perriodt. :chick3: The pandemic and protests that happened during the album's release aren't really that much of an excuse. Imma let it breathe cause its very stale atp but thankfully this tour happened. :WAP:

They are a good excuse for not being out on the streets and serving looks though.

Well, when you put it like that…

Some of y’all saying Joanne didn’t do anything make no sense. I guess the $95 million grossing JOANNE tour from only 49 shows didn’t happen? There is more to an era then streaming numbers. Tour grosses>every other metric combined

Maybe I got carried away with word "Disaster". But Its performance in Europe and Asia was indeed terrible for an artist like Gaga.

Well she basically ignored both continents since ARTPOP and was focusing on her rebranding and C2C. The sound wasn't particularly something they like too. That said MR was a hit in some countries and the tour did well in the countries it visited nn.

Joanne's effect is more apparent in America tbh.

ARTPOP & rep: solid concept badly executed, drastic image/sound change + shift from last album

Joanne & Lover: disjointed album, safe music, a bit of a playlist, drastic image change + shift from last (edgy) album

See?

 Help :dies:

Joanne deserves to be trashed continuously, its one of the worst eras in existence that holds one of the worst, annoying, abhorrent, and pathetic songs ever, MR. its the only album that has no redeeming qualities at all, something which at least ARTPOP has, going by the latest Pitchfork rating and the cute lil support & boost for the album last year, something the **** aunt will never garner

I enjoyed Joanne as an era and loved the album for like a week.

I really want her to just start flopping so y’all can stop judging how good an album is based on how well it performs.

Well, The Fame is her best performing album and I’m sure very few people here think it’s her best.
:eli:

Joanne was not a distaster, as someone stated earlier but let’s face it, it wasn’t exactly a great album either.
