Lady Gaga

This is part 1 of the Lady Gaga discussion.

The finale set needs work, feels rushed, at least a background visual and they all saying goodbye.

The setlist works, but I feels there's room for Scheisse, Alejandro, Paparazzi and SFL as the finale and HMH with Million Reasons and even 1000 Doves before the final act.

also remember this is the first date, i remember BTWB's first date in South Korea being a lil too strict too but this is honestly soo great

she had days of rehearsals leading up to this tour not just for this date, ofc she's gonna be exhausted

can't wait for the tweaks they will make tho :jonnycat:

I really love the concept of using a whole bottle of super-hold hairspray at the beginning and just let that hair unfold as the show goes.

Ms Frederick can finish his job at 8pm and go to bed.

1000 Doves would have been great during the piano segment, instead of TEOG.

this tour was great

Amazing set list, great stage, stunning looks

points for consideration:

- more interaction with the crowd

- encore needs to change. Alejandro, Always Remember Us This Way, Applause are the most fit considerations. I feel like Applause is the most fitting for an encore

- i feel like rina sawayama or pablo vittar wouldve been amazing contributions as opening acts.

Enigma seemed like such an after thought, once they realised fans wanted it.

we all agree Replay was the highlight, right? :jonny:

Her best tour ever tbh

Outfits 10/10

Visuals 11/10

Vocals 10/10

She should cut Hold My Turd and add Paparazzi + Alejandro + GH tho

some of you need help :rip:

you really gonna say you endured enigma and gonna call this tour a calamity? its weird a this point

The ending is fine. People need to understand that a low quality livestream of a show is not the same as being at the actual show... the energy is totally different.

Besides for the ending, this was amazing. To me 911 and Free Woman are the highlights. The text and color screaming at you during 911 on the screen was the icing on the cake. I'd say the weakest thing is the setlist, especially the last bit. Really hope she removes HMH as the closer, maybe does Stupid Love then Enigma, then ROM as encore.

Also awkward how non talkative she was tonight...

also, we need reviews from people from the show, not the people who watched it on a portrait insta live stream :deadbanana2:

With the exception of maybe Artrave, all of her first dates she's shy with the audience and some things need tweaks.

As far as the show, I have little to no complaints. HMH should be the second-to-last song, it's a weird closer because ppl don't know the song. Rain on Me or Shallow would work better. The final act is literally the only thing that has issues.

As for the stage, in motion it works much better, the box thing is an issue for sideview but everyone else is fine.

I'm glad she doesn't do story anymore. After TFM, BTW and Enigma, I think the idea that her tour needs a story line to be good is overrated. What sold me and what will always sell me is her undeniable charisma and her vocals. As long as those are on point, everything else is just bonus.

We’re entering the stage of Gaga’s career where everyone wants the same exact songs on every tour and people get disappointed if literally one or two songs don’t make it.

I think the set list was cohesive and nice, If anything we needed Sine From Above into Marry the Night or something to end it.

I swear some of y'all are just in denial that you don't like Gaga anymore :priceless: I understand not liking the tour, that's your opinion, but maybe you should consider moving on from being a fan? Whinging in here about your lack of taste isn't going to make it better :gaycat6:

There isn't one negative thing to point out about this show :jonny5:

the interludes were top notch visuals, her best interludes so far.

The outfits were all amazing, not one single miss.

The wig and the makeup... Freddie and Sarah must've had their rents due.

Her vocals were spot on and her breath control was amazing, you couldn't hear any breathing even if she was wearing a headset.

The dancing was one big STFU to all the people criticizing her dancing abilities and proof that she needs simpler and smoother choreographies to nail each move.

Her shrieking during the first act and Sour Candy added 10 years to my life.

HER BEST TOUR :jonny5:

Now I just need LauiiHD to come thru with the whole show tomorrow.

Oh and to add on, I loved that she wasn't talking throughout the show and kept it all for the piano segment, but still didn't overdo it like she knows to. The Enigma performance was so simple, yet so powerful - a one woman show.

Beat tour ever. But the ending is a little off for me.

Overall Godga is still one of the best live performers on this planet,:loki:

Performance & Vocals - great

Setlist - good.. but can she drop Telephone and LoveGame already.. i want ScheiBe and Sine From Above.. also why end like that without proper goodbye??

The Costumes & Visuals - AMAZING

The STAGE - chile, let's face it JWT stomped on it.. it seems like they dont know how to make a stage for stadium although i need some more video

OVERALL - a great show, thank God it's far from Enigma and Artrave but behind the trinity that is The Monster Ball, BTW Ball and JWT

I'm camping on Youtube for the 4k videos :jonny3:

Camping for the videos taken from the seats area, wanna see how the lighting + videos in the background work all together.

Its so nice to see her live again. Act 1 was pure pop perfection.
I think this is her less perfect tour but I really enjoyed it.
