maybe? she probably discovered through WHYB that the admin side of things is probably best suited for a company that knows how to do this

Not very keen on the new song. It feels kinda generic and the lyrics are nothing special ("I've never been so damn drunk in my life" "took a while but I am bulletproof" ...really?). I like the verses but the chorus is meh. I'd be lying if I said I didnt expect more.

It has to be. Based off how Michelle has been describing it, I'm having a hard time imagining anyone else. Plus, they were kinda close back in the day (still love when Kelly joined The Wreckers for that cover of Cigarettes). Very excited to hear Kelly's take if it ends up being her.

Heading down in a bit for Kelly's show! Haven't seen her live since the MOL tour. Long overdue.

I don't mean to overstate this, but I've been following Kelly since the moment she first appeared on my TV. I was 12 then; I'm 36 now. I've supported her through every TV appearance, every album, every tour—everything.

Watching her tonight, I was just so incredibly proud to be her fan. She's truly in a league of her own. Whatever Kelly decides to do next, she'll have my full support. She's earned it. She's an unbelievable talent, and honestly, this is EASILY the best I've ever heard her.

Couple of things now that I've come down from my high, haha

Was nice seeing Cory on stage tonight. She added TTWLI, TYH and I'd Be Lyin'. Took out Mine, Catch My Breath, Tightrope, and the cover. Take You High didn't have the same impact as it did on the show. Since they don't use backing tracks, the repeated part was missing so the chorus felt kinda empty.

She went for the big note on SUBG (it was pitched down) and nailed it. Where Have You Been was spectacular, as was Sober.

Also, Weiss was running around the stage during I'd Be Lyin' so I'm assuming we're getting a live video.

Night two we got Would You Call That Love and Tightrope which replaced TTWL and Sober (🥲).

Unfortunately, tonight I think I experienced a real Vegas crowd. Both nights I was in GA, but last night I was surrounded by real Kelly fans. Tonight there were some Kelly fans and some Vegas people with money to spend and it really impacted the experience.

Aside from the obvious issues with distance and how expensive Vegas is, I fully get folks wanting a proper tour. I want to go to a Kelly show and be surrounded by people who at least appreciate her. People tonight were leaving mid show, sitting on the floor, yelling at fans for being too enthusiastic. Really took me out of the experience.

Oh that is disappointing! Definitley needs to explore some shows away from vegas now

Interesting things from yesterday: talk of more songs being recorded, she auditioned for an animated film and wants to tour internationally again

is she releasing another new song? the latest teaser for the final KCS episode tomorrow she says "im debuting a new song" ?

Sadly not as was referring to IBL as was recorded pre release

Buuttt she did say she's been working on a lot of new songs so hopefully something soon

And why we don't have the brakes PBP yet I don't know, that and sober sounded better than ever

I know the reaction from fans to the talk show years was mixed, but overall I think I'm really grateful for the huge amount of performances we got.

She really explored every aspect of her voice in her Kellyokes and showed off so much range, in my opinion her vocals on the show surpassed anything she's done in the traditional recording studio for her albums. Starting in season 3 & 4 many of the performances were honestly giving studio vocals/recordings with the improved vocal production. I've downloaded over 200 performances from the show and added them to my library and I always love when they come on shuffle, even if they're shorter than a traditional song. Here's to hoping for a new studio album next year

On the podcast she just did she mentioned having three things in the works, and I think a live album was one of them? She mentioned that she loves where she is at vocally right now and then mentioned that next year will be 25 years since winning American Idol. I think that points to a couple of things things:

1. New single(s)

2. Live album from the residency

3. Re-recordings of her older music
