  1. Figures. Lol
  2. Wow no posts here in like two weeks Any truth to the clickbait posts I keep seeing about Netflix doing a documentary or special on the life of KC? It looks fake but who knows.
  3. Wow it has been a minute since I have seen KC at #1 on iTunes song and video. Or have I ever seen that? Not sure but it's nice to see now. Wish it meant more. I hope this song has legs somehow. I appreciate it a lot more now that I've had time to sit with it.
  4. It's definitely a grower. I listened a handful more times yesterday and woke up with it stuck in my head. I just love that guitar and everything after it.
  5. The song is growing more on me. Especially from the guitar solo to the end. Gorgeous Maybe it can go viral on TikTok with people trying to hit the high note if one of you crazy kids wants to start the trend
  6. Don't get me wrong, it really is a good song. It's mature, sultry, and the vocals slay. We as fans have just heard some of this before on MOL, Chemistry, and WCCA. I'm probably underwhelmed because I was expecting something more of a departure. Her base is older and will appreciate it.
  7. It's a nice song in that she sounds amazing so anything she sings is nice, but yes it's nothing even remotely new for her. It's basically Christmas Come Early without Christmas references. I agree the message is a little odd since it doesn't seem like this is where she is in her life. Happy to have new music anyway and I am looking forward to the video! I hope it resonates well with people who aren't as familiar with her catalog.
  8. Kelly soon Clarkson is back!
  9. Honestly this is the best song I have heard in so long. That bridge.. are you kidding? God, I am OBSESSED. This deserves to smash. I liked it on first listen, second grew more and then it just took over my brain completely.
  10. Vanish Into You has a part that sounds like an actual sample from David Bowie's "Let's Dance". I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it yet EDIT: I see Variety magazine notes this as well that there are spots in the verses that are a nod to the song. So I feel validated.
  11. Does anyone else hear a David Bowie "Let's Dance" influence in Vanish Into You?
  12. Just did my first listen through. Disclaimer: I rarely love songs on first listen - Abracadabra was an exception. Here's my rank: 1. Abracadabra (truly in a league of its own) . . 2. Disease . . . 3. Vanish Into You 4. Blade of Grass 5. How Bad Do U Want Me . . 6. LoveDrug 7. Killah outro only . …. the rest. I remember liking more songs on some of her other albums after first listen, but hopefully this one grows.
  13. I have been out of the loop. Do we think a new original album is coming? Or do we think Studio Sessions will be the first album she releases under her own label and it could be the covers album everyone has been asking for? I could see her doing this, releasing an original single as buzz for it and then continuing the covers theme with the Vegas shows.
