Her streams are up, public goodwill seems to be too, if she plays her cards right she could have something special on her hands. hopefully tiktok picks it up anyways like HIH really has nice longevity even though katy never pushed it

Was watching old performances and this might be my favorite performance of teenage dream she’s done  the harmonies/ad libs she does on the last chorus are transcendent. I Stan a VOCALIST

Oh yes absolutely these days 9/10 songs are made popular off tiktok, I just don't want a Lizzo/Miley situation where the lead single is a smash hit and nobody cares about the album. We need a successful era full of longevity

I cant wait for the next era. Hope is something fun but deeper than the typical cutesy anthem.
I have trust the next era will be better than Smile and Witness.

I actually like that she’s not releasing droplets and songs left and right, they usually ruin the hype. Waiting for the lead single will be better.

I always had such a weird relationship with this song.  Like I HATED the snare they incorporated on the production when it was finally released but the outro is low key a career highlight

I still prefer "Wide Awake" (but that's because I'm a huge "Wide Awake" stan and consider it one of her best songs) but this song has aged well for me, I used to HATE it.

Allegedly there's a single coming soon but you never know with Katy 

It's been almost three years since Smile. You can't tell me she didn't have the time to record 13 good songs and record three music videos or something 

And like, she doesn't even have to perform or anything. She has enough money to buy some radio and Spotify payola.

I always skip this song when listening to TD. Starting the album with TD and ending it with Wide Awake is just too perfect.

I don't even think it's about time, but Smile's tepid reception must have shown her that she should just focus her efforts elsewhere, and that is what she did.
