Roar is a perfect lead single. I can't see it work as well as it did being released later. It's a great song, but the hype of a lead single helped it being that massive. 

 

Single N2: Unconditionally

Unconditionally was a decent single and I think it has its niche in Katy's singles discography. It was sandwiched between two smashes but it did pretty good all in all.

 

Single N3: Dark Horse featuring Juicy J

Her best song really did a trick back then and no one could stop it.

Single N4: Walking On Air

Walking On Air could've been pushed as the first single after the release of the album and while Dark Horse could've still been too massive, I feel like this song is so much different that it would've reached its audience, especially if they focused the promotion in Europe.

 

Single N5: Black Widow featuring Iggy Azalea (new original song)

The Iggy collab would've been a smash hit back in 2014 and would've made Dark Horse have a sister on the tracklist. It would also be released as the lead single from The Ultimate Collection.

Single N6: Legendary Lovers featuring Drake (remix)

Legendary Lovers Remix would give the fans what they wanted and give Katy another huge collab. With so many Katy singles in the 2008-2015 years, I feel like Drake would've made it feel more fresh for the audience. 

 

Single N7: It Takes Two featuring Bruno Mars (remix)

They would sound so good together. Could've done a couple of award shows performances together, maybe a cute Grammy performance instead of By The Grace Of God? A concept.

I’ve seen a lot of speculation about a possible collab between the two over the last few days and I’d be here for it. It would be a smart collab for Katy. Her collabs always feel really random and tacked on (Juicy J, Migos etc) so to collab with an actual name would be fun. I’d also love to hear Katy go back to a pop rock sound, even if it was just for one single.
