I'm very against a VMA performance. Of course I want to see her perform, but the VMAS are FAR beneath her and they don't deserve the first Renaissance performance. No one has checked for the VMAs since 2016. She should stage her own show or perform somewhere more relevant and respectable

I agree and disagree to a certain extent. I think vmas being a dead show is the very reason why she should perform. That show was all about honoring artists for their creativity and vision, and who else but Bey could give this show the life support it needed to be brought back to its former glory. Inspire the girls to elevate their performances and visuals. And imagine if she brought out madonna for a BMS/Vogue mashup?:jonny6: She would revitalize pop culture, truly a Renaissance experience!

unless Beyonce has definitive plans to have her own concert special somewhere...she might as well perform at the VMAs. every award show is down in ratings...there are not many platforms to perform these days. the performance can go to Youtube and go viral like the Oscars. its not so much the status of the show but the bigger picture.

:clap3:

The VMA's being dead means nothing in the viral social media age. If the performance is good and available online (let us pray :dancehall3:) then it works just as well as any other performance spot. Even if the ratings drop another 50%. The quality of the VMA's being beneath her doesn't mean she can't bring the quality we as fans are accustom to.

I really want her first performance to be in the Metaverse or even on her website (since she has been playing this decoding game).

This whole era has been forward thinking! I want her at the VMAS but I want something new and fresh for the first performance.

WTF!?! Are out of your ******* mind...why would you say some bullshit like this

Beyonce has the worst fans in the world...**** off

Girl why are you acting like autism is such a bad thing. For many people, it has been a gift.

Responses like this just further stigmatise autism.

Not Jane having a meltdown because we point out Bey has had help done. I mean cmon, its evident and not bad at all if done nicely like in her case. I also have a bit of botox in my face and would do it in a heartbeat again. It looks super natural and yall wouldnt know a thing.

Bey has had some work done (youthfullness, lips, etc) but it looks great on her.

I  think Bey would look better if she had never had any work done, but I don’t really care. She  looks her age and she looks gorgeous.

I didn’t mean for a debate I just want Bey to make an appearance and/or give us a visual. ( the 20th is still another two weeks away). Maybe even do another exclusive interview. :jonny6:

It's an ill-informed and irresponsible accusation

It's all very simple...Beyonce has plainly stated it & has said it many other ways. Don't confuse a public image with how she is as a person...she can keep a 10 foot pole with the media & disgusting fans all day. This does not speak to her communication with her family, friends and business associates.

I’m grateful I have the ability to choose what I want to share,” she told the magazine. “One day I decided I wanted to be like Sade and Prince. I wanted the focus to be on my music, because if my art isn’t strong enough or meaningful enough to keep people interested and inspired, then I’m in the wrong business. My music, my films, my art, my message — that should be enough.

"Those who don’t know me and have never met me might interpret that as being closed off,” she said, adding that “the reason those folks don’t see certain things about me is because my Virgo ass does not want them to see it. ... It’s not because it doesn’t exist!

This is not a mental disability...its called mind your ******* business & be content with the music

Do we think she'll be on the September issue of Us Vogue again?

If Beyoncé desires age reversal,  look no further than to Dr. Sinclair and Dr. Goldner: Go vegan, fast, hyper-nourish in over 1lb of cruciferous greens per day, invest in ingesting top quality NAD/B3,  and eliminate or ingest little of omega-6 and, in turn, consume a half cup of omega-3s in the form of flax and chia seeds that must be GRINDED either via a grinder or a blender (walnuts too). Problem solved!

I saw a few photos on the 'gram but does anyone have a guest list of who all was at the Renaissance party? I know Bey isn't gonna post any photos until long after the fact lol.

Okay, I hereby retract all comments made by me about autism as it relates to Beyoncé.

Now, you can find something else to be enraged about.

It's an objective truth, but I guess the delivery gave off an inadvertent comedic effect hahahaha

Let her stay hidden if she wants. As long as she promotes her music and shows us her recording process or tells her more about how the music came about or her opinion of it in little notes, she can stay home.

I don't see the botox but that's also not my problem nor a thing to dissect or discuss as none of us know that for certain. It has been my opinion that all those things actually age people not the reverse.

And I find it weird to say it's "normal" and everybody does that although people, mostly black people, were aging just fine (actually more than fine) without it before.

This further proves that the melismatic phrasings in Plastic Off The Sofa are too challenging:

Chloe is the fast hare that is being out-paced by Sonic, Flash and Quicksilver: The riffs and runs in POTS require Mariah & Brandy level agility to execute properly.

It was just a theory to defend why she is hiding. You calling what @Bey Admired said an “accusation” means you still don’t get it. The least you could’ve done was at least not throw insults at them. There’s literally nothing wrong with being on the spectrum, it’s not “PC culture” it’s literally science and medicine. Everyone else had already politely disagreed with her.

Just because Bey chose to hide from the media and from her fans by collateral damage doesn’t mean we cant joke about it (botox) or make harmless theories (autism) You’re complaining about PC culture when in fact you’re the most sensitive one here. The irony :rip:

Savants are autistic, and who wouldn't dream of harboring the mental acuity of a literal human computer????!!!!!!

You nor them have the science and medicine to say someone has a neurological disorder b/c you're confused on why a celebrity is not giving you a dog & pony show that you think you deserve.  Beyonce is not in "hiding", she had a personal party...not a concert or award show. Your problem is that you think you deserve to be a voyeur into Beyonce's life. lastly, from her recent interviews to the letter she wrote last week - her messaging is clear & consistent - just absorb the music. And that's the whole point that you all are NOT getting - take the music & go.

These are not jokes...they are insults & a mockery of people who actually have disabilities

There should have been a virtual club renaissance party set up for the fans though where Bey is somewhere and gets to interact live with the fans. I think it would be good marketing and interaction with the fans and SAFE with no chance of anything getting dangerous since it's virtual but who knows maybe that is coming. It's been a week i think we can be patient a little bit more.
