Self Titled feels PG-13 compared to Renaissance as far as how sexual it is for me imo. Damn near on every song she’s talking about how amazing the inside of her thighs are, grey sweatpants, how thique her *ss is getting, literally singing telling jay to BRUISE her. She is h*rny as hell on this record

I like that she didn’t make the entire album pop or  house. 
 

She put some afrobeat, some dancehall, and R&B in there as well and she did her own rap features instead of needing Drake on Heated or Jay Z

Hasn't the committee evolved to be 'more inclusive' (whatever that means) since 2016 though? Idk, maybe this is wishful thinking. But this acclaim and goodwill definitely has me wondering if it's hers to lose. Last time it was obvious they only awarded 25 it did unprecedented numbers. This time she won't have that to rely on.

That would only open the doors for Silk Sonic. And if Silk Sonic is rightfully snubbed, Brandi Carlille will probably take it. We are in 4th position i fear
