Absolutely adore Kelis, but it's worth noting her pointed tone + language she decided to use when she knows her dispute is not at all contextual to Beyoncé's album campaign. Yet it's her she's specifically trying to disparage.

I hope next album Bey uses less samples though. Like you open doors for disrespect like that when you associate your name to other artists too much.  Some are in desperate need of that attention and they take it and run with it, those who are already salty will just use it to do maximum damage to your reputation. None of that is worth it tbh.

Renaissance is to me EASILY one of her best albums and I won't need much more time to rank it 2nd.

 

It's absolute magnificent on every level, it has probably some of the least skips on any of her albums.

The only one that didn’t click for me is Heated but I LOVE the ending she breathes so much personality in the track

I really think you're right. Her words were "three act project". I think if it was three albums she would have explicitly said that. And today with us finding out that the visuals are coming later, it makes sense that it would be act 2. The visuals (act 2) are the 'Black Is King' to RENAISSANCE (act 1)'s 'The Gift'.

And ? She can definitely have record visuals for the album and visual material for the tour? It absolutey tracks.

The VOUGE author also said something to the extent of an “overwhelming abundance” of music is coming. It’s been six years since Beyoncé’s last album. Is it really hard to believe that she recorded three albums from 2019-2021?

Y'all know the HOT breath hyenas who ran to listen to the L2AK tried to control the narrative when after waiting for the OFFICIAL release of the album like a good fan, I dropped on the floor not understanding how she managed to top herself one more time. Not only is Break My Soul so...vanilla compared to the rest of the record but the album's production, the tracklist and the transitions are CAVIAR. Mind you she did this was stuck at home with hot pants Hova and her three kids to look after during lockdown.
