I also believe the album rollout will be similar to the way Harry Styles did his. I expected an album announcement with pre-orders for 1-2 months before the actual release, especially if the colorful vinyls rumor is true.

Bts is going to get their #1 album next week. I’d rather have her announce an album than surprise drop.

Id kinda live for a daily update somewhere with subtle hints being dropped. Like a number here, another number there, a "random" pic somewhere else, a Blue Ivy cameo on TikTok where Blue subtly teaser sth. Give us the tease MAWMA

Exciting. Mentally preparing for all outcomes. New music, Ivy Park, NFTs...or nothing...much like that TikTok "launch".

 

If it is new music, I really think it'll be an announcement/pre-order than a surprise drop. IMO, the new "surprise" should be the trailer, cover, date and pre-order and make a lot of noise about it. 

 

Like some have pointed out, there's BTS this week. And just in general, she actually needs to fire from all cylinders strategically (line up the digital drop properly with the physical like the vinyls we know she's coming with).

 

Plus, beyond being tired, the out of the sky digital drop is risky in that it will be uphill struggle / scramble to sell physical units if there's disinterest/disapproval with the music (which is something that can't be predicted). 

 

The smart play is to use the "she's back" hype to drum up major pre-orders across all formats so the girls are already bought-in/invested come the time the album drops. I wouldn't even drop a single beforehand. Use the hype as a promo tool, then the single/s (like always) can present itself when the full thing drops.

Would be great, but when do we think said tour would be?

 

She's for sure missed the summer stadium window for this year and announcing for 2023 would be welcomed but gives a bit...early. 

 

I don't see her sweating out her wig with those 100+ date arena tours anymore (it literally doesn't make sense when she can do less and make much more in stadium).

 

So, I'm bracing for a musical announcement. If it's a live thing, I'm prepping for something totally left than the usual. Like Vegas, Netflix concert, or some other huge live thing that isn't so predictably tied to the summertime.
