Well, she started in Europe which was pretty fast sellouts, and the US dates came much later, but even the last date of the whole tour didn't sell out until the day of

I wouldnt worry about the tours sales. My gut feeling tells me everything will be sold out by next week once the first show goes mega viral for being THAT good

The only date that I think seems problematic that's soon is the May 7th LA date that's in two weeks, it has a lot available.  

We have to remember that there wasn't an orange clown on the White House trying to purposely destroy the economy when she was on her last tour.

yeah I don't know the specifics of how this works but I think they usually have a quota for each venue, once that number of tix is sold it can be labeled "sold out." most artists will usually have some crazy expensive "platinum" tix or ADA accessible seats left unsold but they don't show "99.8%" in their reports.

 

a lot of Cowboy Carter shows are probably already past that threshold or close, I'd think.

Well, it's also the design of the tour, having mini-residencies with five dates is a lot.  I mean you're talking about selling 250k or more in some cities.  They had to have known there would be some dates that sold slower.  NYC is pretty much sold out other than the last date, and some chunks of newely released seats at the other dates.  Atlanta is the same, Houston has pretty much been sold out since the beginning, DC sold very well.

I'm surprised she didn't add another date to Paris, also clunking in the Europe dates in between the US. Usually she does them before or after. I guess it would have to do with the stadium availability. 

Also, Bey has a huge audience in Brazil, Australia, and other places but she refuses to tour there. I'd hate to work for her because she has purposely dented her own career.

This has always frustrated me to no end. She has the opportunity to break records in untapped markets that are literally begging for her to go there. We're talking multiple sold out stadiums across continents. Easy money. And further reinforces her touring power. 

 

She definitely could've pulled that lever for this tour since the demand is softer than RWT was stateside. But no she wants to exhaust demand in North America where she's doing well but just selling slower. I hope she and her team know not to overdo it with Act 3 and it's tour. Give North America a break Bey. Leave it as the last shows next time and actually tour the world first. 
 

I think it will all look good in the end with box office numbers but her team needs to be conscious that you can only tap a market so much especially when you just had a pretty robust N.A. tour two years ago.

I personally think y'all need accept the fact this woman is in her mid 40s, sustained an injury, had a mom and father have breast cancer diagnosis, issues in her marriage, potentially have young children with special needs, a daughter entering her teens in the limelight, and other things that make a global trek not that feasible. Like yes, she could but at what cost? At the end of the day she's made it pretty clear that her family is her top priority. Not telling you to not express yourself but lbr certain things are unlikely to change at this point.
