She was doing everything and anything on those tours. It likely had to do with her age and the state of her voice during those times I guess, I'm not an expert. I need to ask the good sisters @Bmezy or Ryan from the Bey discord, all I know is that she was giving her all.

 

She did some feats on The Beyoncé Experience that she never replicated ever again.

 

Firstly, the longest F5 of her career was during her show in Barcelona, 8 seconds. From the first minute of this video:

 

 

She was truly playing with her voice. Imagine going from an operatic A5, down to a Bb2, and ending with a sustained F5 and vibrato 

 

 

Her longest note was held in Oslo during Flaws And All, 14 seconds, if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately her team took down most of her tour footage.

 

She also delivered many messa di voce, which is the hardest feat from a technical standpoint (she belongs in the in the same league as Whitney, Pavarotti, Lisa Fischer). She also did some on the US leg of the RWT btw.

 

 

The MSCWT was also insane. Even when she suffered from severe tonsillitis she was still delivering A+ plus live vocals, to the point of combining both versions of CIL 

 

 

WDYLM was the craziest thing she has ever done to this day. The mamas were shook

Okay yes I see what you mean. Indeed she was doing more of these separate moments and riffs and runs to showcase her capabilities during those tours. And she did start doing that more again during the RWT for sure.
 

I guess I've always been more focused on the delivery of the song proper. 
 

I still maintain that her technique has gotten better with time though. 

She has the perfect voice for Rock...act iii could potentially be a masterpiece

I saw a Beyoncé hate video with 1.6M likes on Instagram, from a white man. he was comparing her to the Kardashians  and then played a snippet of "OH LOUISIANA" interlude to "prove" Cowboy Carter is bad and not country.

 

I had 3 mutuals that had liked the video. I unfollowed them. 

The talks of act iii being rock has me really excited. American requiem is heavily rock inspired and is arguably one of her best songs. Act iii might be her magnum opus. OMG! 

act iii being rock seems expected but unrealistic.

idk i think ppl are envisioning a certain style of rock. like i can see act iii being 18 songs with 3 heavy rock influences and the rest being a psychedelic funk and alt/blues power ballads.
