I just can't believe the same people that stan Bodyguard are the same ones dragging Jolene. 

Bodyguard is Fleetwood Mac inspired aka one of the greatest bands of all time. Just because of that it belongs to the top songs of CC

Dragging Bodyguard in defense of Jolene is crazy  but how else would y'all want her to transition into Daughter? Jolene was literally the perfect song for that…

Cowboy Carter sounded corny as a title when it was first revealed too. And we also dragged the name Renaissance.

 

Revolution could well be the title of Act III considering it's placement in the lyrics of My House, but then by that logic Act II should have been called Rodeo (a word dropped so many times in Act I and in Act II itself).

 

I still stand by the fact that the neatest way of naming these albums would have been alliterative.

I'm kinda glad. I think she expected Beyonce to do a Whitney lyric-for-lyric remake, and it didn't happen. While B was fighting the new "will the remake be as good?" crowd, she has also had to contend with the persistent "Beyonce doesn't write" crowd. It's a lose-lose.

Best part: It's a top 10 single on both sides of the pond, made it to the top 10 of the Country Songs charts, debuted on Country Airplay, and survived long enough to appear on the year-end charts for Country. She has the best-performing version of "Jolene" by a country mile. 

 

In terms of big picture, wasn't Dolly Parton also recently awarded some sort of commemorative, non-competitive award at the CMAs? She didn't want to rock the boat, but inadvertently threw Beyonce under the bus instead.

I wonder if the art book was pushed back because she originally planned to put out the visuals on the 13th of December before the performance  

Maybe the album title will be three words this time

Tbh the only corny title here is Revolution

I think my only hesitation around believing it's about Act III is because of the football field + cowboy hat in the teaser. 
 

my gut still says it's a tour announcement + surprise Act III lead shortly after
