I don't think it's a bad take, but you know how people get when they misconstrue intent. I went through the same ish last week. And here we are and they're still...anyway. You're not wrong and to have an opinion on this doesn't mean considering how Bey feels. She's her own woman. She has her own opinions, just like how we do.

 

With that being said, it's not a bad convo to have and I honestly don't think it's a bad comparison. If anything, the comparison in itself, regulated to longevity, would actually be an honor to Bey. But Bey is Bey and is way past being viewed as the next "soandso" when they new girls are opting on being the next Bey.

She already made a name for herself, chart chasing is generally for newer acts. But it is refreshing to see she can spawn another hit esp each decade of her career.
