Two of her producers and one of her writers are up for Producer of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, respectively. Out of the other AOTY contenders, only Sabrina has one of her writers and Chappell has her main producer.

 

Other categories that prove the popularity of the albums despite not being given to the artist: Charli is up for remixed recording and best packaging, Sabrina is up for best engineered album and remixed recording, and Billie is up for best dance recording for a secondary version of one of her tracks.

 

Good thing for Bey: Chappell, Sabrina, Billie and Charli target the same voters.

For some reason it felt like the gap between CC and the lack of a tour announcement wasn't that long yet as the gap between Rennie and the RWT announcement felt like forever, but I just realised:

 

Rennie (29/07/22) - RWT announcement (01/02/23) = 187 days

 

CC (29/03/24) - today (08/11/24) = 224 days

 

It's never coming.

What I find funny about people saying CC is too long is Taylor's recent album is 2 hours and 3 minutes long, and weirdly nobody ever comments on how much of a slog that album is. I just don't get it, bc yes CC is slightly longer than the average album, but the music is interesting enough with several career highlights throughout to warrant it. Whereas TTDP is an absolute snooze with all the songs sounding the same and no real highlights.

 

I don't mean this basé bc most of us don't use #that lady but generally around the forum.

Exactly, and I feel like this album has been her most palatable in recent memory. Especially when u compare it to renny, self titled. There was a reason why we all found at least 6 songs that would be great stand alone singles.

LOL this is why she put up "Tyrant" as a sacrificial lamb in the R&B categories when "II Hands II Heaven" was sitting right there. She KNEW. 

She should have featured Jazmine on this and extended it tbh. They would have both sounded incredible on it together
