it's probably that two Taylor songs split the votes between them. LEVII'S JEANS probably got more votes than Fortnight, so Fortnight was kicked out cause Post can't be nominated with two songs 

i'm honestly surprised by all the nominations...i thought it was going to be more bad news this week for me.  i expected that she was going to get the bare minimum & be snubbed by the country voting block since they fought to keep "daddy lessons" out. i wasn't pleased with the song submissions...so i'm surprised Bodyguard, Spaghetti, and Levi's Jeans actually got nominated. then i felt like CC was the album with the least likelihood of winning AOTY only for it to look like she may have her best chance yet. so we'll see.

11 noms, viral songs, biggest streaming day's ever left and right, Act III teasing and I haven't seen a single "she knows" video in weeks.

and she doesn't have health issues this time around. i know expecting a free performance from her is more than delusional but we know she loves a big event and/or performance to promote a new era. i doubt she'd wanna use the super bowl twice in a row so i actually could see her give the grammy's a performance and kill two birds with a stone, drum up hype for an album announcement/promoting it if already announced and get her usual "viral performance before a big tour" moment as well (especially if act iii is released in february/the tour goes on sale) 

Bey is never performing free again.

She'll show up looking a corny mess in a costumey outfit though.

 

The moment I first heard II Most Wanted I just knew I wanted her and Miley to perform it at the Grammys.

The way she's not acknowledging her own nominations, but congratulating Linda Martell, shows why everyone adores her and why they actually thank her in their speeches 

Spaghettii did not deserve that nom, btw. Y'all can downvote me 'til you turn blue. That song is garbage.

Also it's looking like the cowboy carter era won't have its own tour like renaissance, at this point there will probably be a tour for both act II and act III. A grammy performance would be the perfect way to give this era a memorable moment before moving on to act III. Personally I also want her to perform to hush everyone saying she didn't deserve all these nominations. They definitely need a reminder of how good this album is

well only get a performance if they let her pre-record it in secret like the oscars. I don't expect her to step onto the Grammys stage to sing ever again lol
