Couldn't agree more. My only problem with this song is the fact that the music video was chopped to less than a minute in the film. Even Sandcastles and Forward got their full songs. 

Not liking 4 is a sign of very limited taste.

It's the album that turned her into the album artist she is today.

I never said I didn't like 4.

 

I do have to say tho - I dont really listen to any of Beys older projects. 

 

If I base my taste on the music i go back to most often, it would be:

 

1. Renaissance

2. Cowboy Carter

3. Lemonade

4. Bday

5. The Gift

It already kinda did when CC came out there's a video with over a million likes with a white woman looking concerned as the audio plays. She wrote something like "Beyoncé… what is this?" And comments were calling Beyoncé a witch and posted theories of her killing some random girl. I wonder when the internet started taking Beyoncés lyrics so literal. Lemonade?

Throwback to Renaissance film premiere day (Thursday night). The whole theater left 30 seconds after My House debuted in front of us for the first time. I stayed until she told me to get the **** out. 

I'm not a 4 truther but it curbstomps Country Cosplay based on sheer number of returnable tracks. You can hear the growth of her musicality on CC for sure, but 4 simply is more pleasurable and comes with none of the baggage
