RENI is just an easy listen, commercial, but still authentic, different but still the essence of the brand 'BEYONCÉ' and exactly what was needed after the pandemic. Had she released "BEYINCÉ" first as planned, she would've did flopped slightly. Because the industry was in its pop/house faze, RENI came at the perfect time, but the visuals obviously weren't done. "BREAK MU SOUL" video wasn't even done and it was the lead single. 
 

"BEYINCÉ" was still in limbo while the lead single was hitting #1, the album being in pressing, photo shoot being reshot, songs being added and the name & aesthetics being changed. The 'series of films' she filmed in 2021 were probably for "BEYINCÉ" and are probably not canon anymore for "COWBOY CARTER". 
 

The multi verse trilogy albums+films idea is great, but because of the first act change, everything kind of falls back until the last album and visuals are fully realized. It's unfortunate because it could've been her biggest addition to the music industry, or the biggest impact these last few years, but it'll still be big whether negatively or positively. Ppl are going to want to know why the hell videos shot in 2022-2024 are being released half a decade later. 
 

RENI ALONE would've benefited dramatically from the visuals, the Alien+Cowboy invasion theme, themed promotion, hour documentary special, the concert film on streaming; the visuals released in theaters as its own entity would be more culturally significant than a concert film. She wouldn't been betrayed for the likes of Taylor and if Marvel producers are still attached to the visuals, there no words to explain how monumental that would've been.

Agree with all of this, though. It's unfortunate she couldn't release as planned, but there's also been failings from Parkwood which have stumped the success of what are already two great eras for her commercially. She was shipping the Rennie visuals to streaming services back in 2023, so she obviously has a final cut ready. Dropping another trailer could have been an option, or teasing them during the RWT film/even acknowledging them rather than trolling the confused fanbase who has stuck by her for so long with the Opulence interlude and the infuriating 'you are the visuals baby'

I have a feeling this tour will be less intensely focused on the CC album than RWT was on Rennie, only because the streams are lower, and the album appealed much more to her GP Halo-loving fanbase than it did to the core-Bday stan fanbase that makes up the dedicated hive
