This is so true. When I'm not listening to the album I'm irritated with it and Beyoncé, but then I listen or watch a reaction vid and fall back in love with it. It's truly mental.

Vocally she has been getting better and better with every album without exceptions. That's why I don't get people who say that 4 is her best album vocally, that album has been devoured 4 times already

This is why I wish she still had a Mathew Knowles at Parkwood. Not too much that he tells her what to do, but somehow who can tell her, "Hey, this looks like a great idea to do. Let's do it!" As much as we like Yvette, Andrew and all these other people, they all seem to be yes men at this point. And I don't blame them. I don't want to be let go the next day I try to go against the grain.  Didn't she fire a lot of Parkwood employees a few years ago? I mean, she even let go of Teresa who's been with her since day 1.

Meh, as a LOVER of CC, I think, even with much more promo,  it would eventually be less stable than Renaissance. It's like a masterful film that doesn't cater much to whatever the GP overall likes. Now, this could and should be doing much better i.e. Bodyguard would be doing numbers if that's what was being pushed. Tyrant could be on Urban Radio.

I honestly think it was meant for that too, I was listening to the album and thinking how the visuals on the sphere inside would be so insane for that setting. You can almost show a film.

Matthew worked for a percentage (and whatever he snuck out), everyone at parkwood is on a yearly salary. Honestly if they're getting paid the same as they did during the pandemic why even bother, great gig actually. Just show her the inevitable #1 album position, go to instagram on release week for an ad, keep feeding into her "elusive chanteuse" mentality to prevent further work.
