Renaissance > CC 

 

for sure. CC is just too long for me to listen to front to back every day, whereas Renaissance was like crack. I can't start anywhere except I'm That Girl. Pretty sure I listened to the album in full at least twice a week from July '22 to January '23. Don't get me wrong, CC is great. But it's not touching Renaissance for me.

That I 100% agree with, but objectively sis, saying that she's "tumbling down all major charts in week 2" is not the same as saying "her streaming is collapsing on Spotify".

All she has to do is push II Most Wanted to keep the albums overall streams cute and steady. I don't feel Texas Hold 'Em is attracting anyone to the album atp. People are actually widely annoyed by that song.

CC is just too long. It has some amazing songs and it's very eclectic and creative but some songs should've been cut. It is a chore to listen to an almost 80 minute album. We are in 2024 none has the attention spawn for that.

When the visuals finally come out and Renaissance gets her second wind. Whew, I cannot wait for that transition when Neighdine stumbles off a desert cliff and reincarnates into Reneigh + BeyoncAI.

IMHO I don't think this album is something she can just leave to the fans/GP to carry. There's a lot of songs and direction needs to come from her. 

 

It's just frustrating seeing the consistent dropping the ball every era. And to make matters worse, the inexcusable botch handling of the physicals. 
 

I think sometimes hive complains too much, but any defending of selling incomplete products is ass kissing to the highest degree. Shes not gonna give you a pat on the back for doing so either.

I got more than 5. Blackbird, Protector (sawry she's cute,  but I do not want to hear songs about children that aren't mine 10 minutes into an album. Maybe move her to the middle.), all of the Willie Nelson cameos, the first half of Jolene, Levi Jeans (even though this is the obvious hit on the album, its the most generic and post nut clarity kicks in when Post starts wailing at the end), and Oh Louisiana.

 

Y'all are doing the absolute most in here, I know damn well you aren't playing this album anymore just because she isn't promoting it? Don't let her foolishness ruin your enjoyment of the album that is such a ridiculous mindset

something I knew about this album before it was even announced was how some people would quickly go back to complaining about a bunch of nothing 

 

19M streams on Day 13 is better than any of her peers' Day 1 streams

The fan who asked about an album in 2013 had BALLS not to fan out like everyone else. AND BEYONCÉ ANSWERED. She said November and they leaked "Grown Woman" video when nothing came 🤣🤣🤣❗️The damn album came right after that☠️☠️❗️

I feel bad for thinking the album is kinda losing its initial luster. It's such a masterclass vocally, more so than any of her previous albums but it's similar to Lemonade in the sense that it's fantastic as a whole project but replay value is kinda mood based. 
 

I do have my ~10 favorites that get daily play but I don't find myself doing a full listen often. Idk Maybe it is a length issue..
