i would LOVE a solid R&B album but i feel like shes passed that stage mainly bc she knows black artists are typically tied to just R&B/Hip Hop genres.

Her not capitalizing off the vinyl craze is easily the dumbest thing she's ever done out of plenty. This is one factor where her exclusivity mindset just goes too far

Apparently it’s a Chuck Berry song and he is considered as the godfather of Rock of something like that. He also has a Country album.

The new album will definitely dabble into many genres, just like Renaissance did with all the different genres and different styles of House. And I agree 16 Streams sounds more Rock than Country. However if you pay close attention you can hear the steel guitar throughout so it’s definitely a country song.

the fact that self-titled hasn't been reissued for exclusivity is one thing... not uncommon for even big artists -- getting ANTI on vinyl was so difficult until last year, for example. it's annoying but we move.

 

4 has never been released on vinyl, I think? and DIL has a Japanese vinyl that goes for $200+ used. 

 

like... I'd even take Urban Outfitters shitty vinyl or Target exclusive red vinyl editions (like ANTI). give us something Giselle.

Really! Only having 3 of her 7 studio albums available on vinyl is insane.

 

Not reissuing DIL for the 20th anniversary last year was a missed opportunity. A VMP Essentials ROTM would’ve been great! Not releasing IASF this year for the 15th anniversary will be another missed opportunity.
 

She really should capitalize on the vinyl craze and get her stuff on wax. I’d like to see DIL and ST reissued and B’Day Deluxe, IASF and 4 get their first vinyl release. One color and a standard black pressing a la Rih-issue.

DIL had a vinyl release in US and UK in 2003 and has been out print since.

It is one thing to (stupidly) not to pre-orders/physicals to avoid leaks, but where the F*CK is the album title or artwork? None of that leads to leaks and would help reignite/continue anticipation...

honey beyonce already has mega hits...she is about to be 43 still getting streaming hits, that is impressive. Don't need to panic

I need her to show off those vocals… ousting each and every single country expectation. This country isn’t going to be a complaining mess, it’s going to be a delivery. 
 

Use the Blues and her Etta James training on top of that powerful voice to smash whatever comes her way. 

 

Sure a little 3-4 note relateable lullaby is nice but an vocalist with the range and conviction >>>>

some of you are expecting her to do taylor numbers or any of these new girls......the fact that beyonce 27 years into her career has a lead single outperforming ariana's much anticipated comeback single is a WIN. Bey has absolutely nothing to prove to anyone, she doesn't need to have a song be a monster streaming smash, she does not need a flowers because she already a song that spent 10 weeks at no 1. She has done it all....everything now is a bonus. The sooner some of you understand that, the better you can actually get into the music and stop obsession over falls on spotify.

 

Also i think it is wayyy more impressive that bey released a country song that is MORE global than her last 4 or 5 lead singles. That is insane and i totally did not see that coming.
