Yeah that comment was almost 15 years ago and let's not act like it's not true. Although it was in bad taste and even 2011 Beyonce wouldn't say something like that, Janet should let it go.

If she truly dislikes her, I don't think it's anything we know about. And if she disliked her, Bey would know and wouldn't go to her shows and mention her in BMS remix

Matthew was (1) a cheater, and (2) ambitious,  ... but until it is discovered that (3) he was ABUSIVE and (4) poor enough that the children's success became a meal ticket (a la Joe Jackson), forcing the kids to sidestep childhood to do something they necessarily didn't want to do, her statement is true.

Having all four traits is what emotionally-scarred the Jackson children. He was relentless, and they became cash cows to their dad.

 

Also... that Garden Gnome Jermaine Dupri was running his mouth a lot at the time, and was in Janet's ear. I remember an interview in 05/06/07 where he was comparing Janet and Beyonce's careers (was he sitting next to Janet?? Don't remember), and saying "she probably won't be here 15 years from now."

It’s hilarious that he said this because he ended up being an opener for one of the shows of the FWT a decade or so after he made that comment. The first all stadium world tour by a female artist might I add. Bey is so much better than me cuz I would’ve paid him dust after that comment but I’m sure that the experience humbled him lmao.

Janet just seems very quiet, chill and private and if she doesn’t like her she’s not going to entertain it, pretend to like her or she’s not bitter enough to say something.

Frankly neither of them are good actors despite having a performance or two that is good. I don't really want to see Bey in a movie ever again.

 

If anything, she needs to tackle Broadway. She doesn't like to go backwards, but I still think Lemonade is ripe for a stage adaptation.
