Beyoncé, although a genius in many ways. Also still deals with fears/anxiety. And if she’s not for sure about plans, she’s not gonna do them. But with the sh*t that is hard evidence, and Yvette not denying the rumors, Bey is probably gonna do it. There’s no one else that can. At all. 
 

I think it’s the perfect transition tbh, especially for a Rock influenced era. Beyoncé planning a universally acclaimed tribute to the THEE Rock Legend, miss Tina!? Right before a rock album!? Will surely get the rock fans on board. So it makes sense to me tbh.

It doesn't make sense to me because it's not confirmed it Act II is a Country album, Rock album or R&B album. Nothing is confirmed and there's nothing to honestly look forward to. Bey doing a tribute and waiting months to a year to release an album won't matter in the grand scheme of what's ahead. Even if she was to release an album a day later, the tribute is simply cliché and had been done by her more than enough times. There's nothing exciting in that- which has been a lot normal than we'd thought, lately. 

 

I'd rather she spend her time doing something for the album if this performance would be leading into a new album era. These dark ages we've lived through should be rewarded with more than an idea of a tribute performance. This is just my opinion, I know everyone else would love to see this performance, I'm just not convinced or in need of it.

I see where you’re coming from, and Bey def is not the type to release something the same way twice. She definitely loves to think of different release strategies lol. Looking forward to anything has just become an echo chamber, but I think it’s like fun for the Hive now . She’s not creating the excitement anymore, so we’ll just do it ourselves 

Watching the Renaissance movie again and still made she didn't do the 3 songs at the New York shows

Anyone besides Bey doing a Tina tribute would be a let down and I think the GRAMMYs know it. It's the perfect story - she's her inspiration, they performed at the GRAMMYs together.

 

I'd love to see it and think it has potential to be one of her best performances ever. It'll definitely go mega viral and would be the perfect set up to a rock era if that's true. Only downside is Jay's cringy DRiL verse will go viral again

Just had a horrific thought of her slapping on a Tina wig for the GRAMMYs and keeping it the whole rock era like the Cadillac Records wig

It is indeed. It's around 2.3M atm.

Honestly if I had to choose, I would've prefer the live album over the visuals.

Why? You can just rip off the audio from the film.   

 

It's already very clean and polished and sounds more like a studio version of the tour renditions.
 

 

 

RENAISSANCE box set album + visuals + live album + the film. maybe throw some remixes on the additional disc. would it work?
