One thing that’ll ALWAYS grind my gears about Bey. Is her not officially uploading her most iconic performances ever in the last decade. No 2013 VMAs performance, no 2016 VMAs performance, no Coachella, no DUBAI PERFORMANCE. Just IMAGINE how much BIGGER and ICONIC she would be if she had released the live footages immediately the week of their performance. The views would be INSANNEEE by now . And the increase in her sales would be insane too!

 

Especially with the Dubai performance. We have yet, in yearrssss, have experienced a moment like that. Last time we did was her Coachella performance. But Dubai felt like we were frozen in time. There was something so SPECIAL about that entire performance. The whole hysteria of people trying to record and find the footages for it, all the social media frenzy. And then the iconic Drunk In Love run that MADE Drunk In Love a signature hit in her discography, and gave it LEGS. It felt like some Michael Jackson level of crazy ngl.
 

Ugh, just thinking about it makes me realize this lady is such an anomaly. And her d*mn pride gets in the way of soooo much Life to her artistry.

Not sharing the Dubai performance was the right call. She had a stadium tour to sell and she could barely walk there.

I feel like it always has been something that’s bit her in the a**. Especially since she knows she’s the best performer of her generation, if not of all time. And she’s still getting put in the same sentence as these other girls when it comes to comparisons .

 

Maybe she’s saving them for a potential retirement docu-series. But chile our generation really doesn’t care for those, and those rarely have lasting impact. So I really do wonder why she keeps them locked away.

I think the Dubai performance benefitted from no professional footage, we got LQ snippets and audio (like of the dril run)

She was literally limping around after the show, she definitely doesn't want us analyzing the performance in HD 

ofc she's not gonna make everything available. she wants to be the premium product, expensive. it benefited her last ten years and she's not gonna change it 

Its very on brand for her career in the last 14 years. Very much 'you know this exist, but this isn't reality' 🤣🤣🤣‼️ Shame we refuse to catch on, but she, also, holds things for later release so- maybe Monday!
