I put Diva there because I think the songs that are the most risk at getting cut would be ones that already have 474747447 recorded live performances. RTW and CIL would also more than fit that requirement but for RTW I think that song is essential for the transition into My Power, the latter which will 1000% be in the film cause of Blue; and CIL's placement as the closer to the Anointed set makes it an odd editing choice to remove.

 

I'm torn on the opening section. I could see all songs being left untouched or only keeping DIL and I Care/Tina tribute.

She didn't rearrange Flaws&All, which she clearly loves singing, for nothing. It'll stay for sure.

If she is repeating the Homecoming playbook exactly, she won't need to cut much besides tightening some interludes (since she doesn't need them to be long for live show purposes in the film and special effects like the lasers in the Anointed interlude won't translate), get rid of random Les Twins dance breaks, and tighten up the ballroom section.

 

I could see her leaving everything in there this way, really. it would be a 150-min runtime, which is just 10 mins more than Homecoming (and 20 mins shorter than Eras Tour).

would be surprised if her birthday speech isn't included. it's a thesis statement for the tour.

I think 1+1 could be cut to the climax as well as I Care tbh. These 2 wouldnt need the complete versions if we're being honest

the full Beychella performance was around 2 hours, if not slightly over. I don't think there's 50 whole minutes of Beyoncé talking in Homecoming, is there?

also correcting myself to say Homecoming is actually 137-minutes. 

 

so she essentially performed for 2 hours + had like 10-12 minutes of "documentary material" in there.

 

by the same formula, RWT can be cut down to around 2h15m by making the cuts I suggested, and adding 15 mins would bring it up to 150-minutes.

 

I'm really not worried about losing songs.

I’m pretty sure if you erased the interludes and transitions and just kept the performances the RWT is 2 hours

 

since the film is 150/160 mins she can still easily sneak in 30-40 mins of doc footage just like Homecoming

atp I’m basically convinced act 2 is rock or at the very least has many rock influences. I can’t wait hopefully we get an amazing aesthetic next era . The photoshoots surrounding renaissance (and from what we’ve seen from the visuals) are stunning. Ugh I really hope there’s a tour attached to it so I can see her again

 

in an ideal world we’d get

international theatre dates announced in October potentially a week after Taylor’s debut

visuals beginning of November (yes I do believe they still will be released and hopefully they come out before the concert to build hype)

movie end of nov/beg of dec - close of the renaissance “era”

act 2 lead towards the end of the year or maybe the very beginning of next year hm. Act 2 and another tour with international dates being prioritised

 

i have no hopes of act 2 rollout being better than renaissance so let’s just hope she doesn’t tease visuals again and the wait between album release and tour aren’t too excruciating

IF act ii is still in her plans I don't think she'll take more than 6-8 months to release it. Some of you said she would be on vacation for months after the tour... but that's exactly what she did when she released Renaissance, it's not like releasing an album will cut her off-time short
