This not even being on her FB is comedy cause promoting to your casual fans is THE best thing you can do for this type of thing. One IG post is cute but not gonna cut it. She should be SPAMMING the hell out of this for the next 2 months

and no, homecoming’s yellow to pink was smooth af, this transition’s a lot more "forced" due to the morphing of 3 different shots (Amari fading in and out )

 

I don’t expect 2024 tour dates to be announced until January or February since the film will be shown in theaters here in the U.S. until around December 24th. The film will help build up demand.

They have to smooth it out, it’ll be fine. We’ll *HOPEFULLY* have a better trailer by thanksgiving.

in the past it was weird sometimes, but now more than ever the combination of multiple shows highlights not only the multitude of fashion, but the meaning behind the tour and all the fans and energy given and taken. if this tour is meant to be a cultural moment, mixing many shows says that far more than just the presentation of one.

Cineplex in Canada (our largest theatre chain and the one that was announced in the press release for displaying the film here) still haven’t announced any showtimes

I’m going to guess they weren’t aware of the release and now are planning showtimes.

I wouldnt be surprised if the theater release is documentary style with concert footage mixed in. But then there will eventually be an uncut version of the show released to streaming.

 

I am mostly excited for the live album.

I don’t! I’m just going city by city looking at theatres and there several that are nearly sold out already. 

If we do get a live album from this film, It’s farfetched but I would love the interludes to be included. At the bare minimum I need at least Loop the Sample

Couldn’t make it all the way through the trailer,(Would it kill her to take a sip of water before recording her narration?) but do it he wristbands looks magical?!

@Cbreezy Your comment in the movie thread really resonated with me. I didn't want to discuss in there with the haters. However, maybe that's why I wasn't as moved by the trailer because it did come across as Homecoming 2.0 Something we've seen before, and Beyonce didn't  push the envelope with this moment she has.
