the concert film isn’t the problem, it’s great that we get this, it’s fact we get this but still no visuals. seeing HQ footage of the tour is amazing but there’s no need for it this soon since most of us saw the tour live and have spent 6 months watching everything on youtube already so all of it is still really fresh, the music videos are not 

 

if they showed the visuals this year and the tour film next year nobody would complain and it would also be a lot more logical

I doesn’t look like she will skip any song. It looks like full concert and BTS footage instead of interludes.

My guess is that she will show the tour specific interludes like Renaissance and Motherboard but will skip stuff that is heavy on the visuals like Anointed, Opulenece and Mind Control. The Love Hangover intermission will probably be gone too and I believe they will shorten the ballroom segment too. 

 

Other than that I think they will show most of the performances if not all.

Id argue that only pop stans and hive have been doing that. This is for everyone. Clips on TikTok is not the same as a full length special. This premieres in 2 months. Plenty of people will be having tour withdrawal by then and we’re getting a live album as well. There’s really nothing to lose here.

but does the GP and randoms go out to watch a concert film like that ? i assumed that’s mostly a stan thing

 

ofc we’re not losing anything (except if she frankensteind the visuals into this or worse scrapped them) and every content we get for this era is a win (especially the live album for me) 

 

it’s just a pain in the ass to wait over a year for music videos, then thinking they are about to be released only for them to still not come out until next year 

It'd be nice to have an extra confirmation, even from an insider or a leak that the visuals will still be happening; but yeah other than that this is a MAJOR win and should keep us fed until she decides to let the visuals out. Especially if it comes with the live album too omg

 

I've watched YT stuff like crazy too but it's not comparable to a professional recording by any means. Let's just hope the editing is not too messy. If it's at least 80% like the broadcast she was doing on the screens live during the concert then it's a W in my books. Homecoming being almost the same as the original Coachella braodcast gives me hope 

 

Though I have previously confessed I much prefer the original to the homecoming version  

Well you know what could clear up confusion about the film and visuals? COMMUNICATiON from Parkwood. 
 

So useless.  How are you going to have your PR and company also be elusive and mysterious? Lol  that is getting old 
 

In the meantime variety and everyone else will tell us what is or isn’t in the film when they could have just talked to the fans. This does feel like a cash grab.

I'm so over the visuals talk. It's done with, move on. Next era she will make up for it. Beyoncé always tries new thngs, she will keep what works and skip what doesn't. She learned from this. 

 

I'm very happy for the film and very happy that it's not Act II.  

 

Let's make this an event like the Barbie thing.

Got my AMC dolby atmos, dine-in tickets at the boujie theater (because I have no patience for the shenanigans). 

 

The fact that the film is titled Renaissance leads me to believe this is still act I (unless she’s intentionally misleading us…again).

 

I think the visuals will be a separate act, titled ECHOVILLE. The Edgelord Queen will probably tease them again in the doc, but I’m losing faith in a new album.
 

I love Homecoming, so I’m excited for this.
