The best thing about all of this is that we don’t have to worry about her streaming viability when Renaissance is released. The GP is intrigued and will certainly tune in when the album drops. If BMS becomes a global smash, we can really just kick our feet up and relax.

When I tell u im SHOOKETH at how well its doing. The last time a Bey single was doing great in Germany was literally Sweet Dreams, im not even joking

 

I hope we have promotional single like 4 and maybe some single sent to country radios (now that she probably didn't do urban music) or international single. We need to have many singles like IASF to benefit the album in the long runs whether it flops or not. Just look at how Doja and Dua keeps their eras alive with so many singles.

I'm genuinely gagged at how well it's performing globally. ATRL has been stating for years that she has no solo power and no global power, only for her to return with a solo single and it perform like this...  I'm cautiously optimistic about Spotify after seeing how it's performing on every other service.

 

I'm definitely hoping for the video on Friday, to push performance for next week!

So this Jason White who's listed as a performer on Spotify. Wikipedia credits him as conductor. What does that mean? I've never seen this type of credit before.

Thinking ahead a bit, one of the reasons I'm so glad this is doing well on launch and the campaign has been so good is what it means for... future projects. 

 

I feel like there will be so many learnings and a new template for her team to pull from when it comes to how to promote in the new marketplace. 

 

For some reason, I've always seen B7 as completing the "neat" era of her discography. 7 solo albums...all big...all #1s (manifesting). It's the number of perfection.

 

After that I want her to of course still drop big solo albums, but actually dive more into side projects like The Gift and EIL (just with a partner act we actually want).

 

In simple words, explore her creativity to the max. EPs, soundtracks, spot songs, creative collab projects. BUT drawing on the most winning parts of her current promo strategy (e.g. NO surprise drops, yes to pre-ordering, lots of format/retail options, simple but effective preceding hype).

 

A part of me thinks she may purposely NOT do any of this to make a clear demarkation between what main "Beyonce album" eras feel like and what her more experimental / time-filling ventures feel like. 

 

It's just that I can't help but bemoan how much The Gift would have benefitted from even a fraction of all of this well-oiled roll-out. Instead we got no promo, no physicals, and a visual album a year later. 

 

I think she can find ways to not go all out with her side projects, but still give them their due in unique ways.

I hope the teaser is actually just a cut from the video rather than a compilation. Imagine the rap or break at the end with an iconic dance. Short, simple and digestible for Tiktok but also serves to generate hype for the video release.

I also believe that what we got is the single version of the song and that the album version will end with the choir. I mean that end sounds perfect to transition into another song.
