Yes, and those writers/producers on Virgos Groove, who had that magazine article that was later redacted :lmao:

If only she put in as much effort into promoting as she does those NDAs.

In regards to the creatives who worked on the visuals, it's pretty common for projects to take months or even a year to come out. This is a visual "film". Movies routinely are released a year or more after filming has wrapped, and often involve reshoots. It's also in every creative contract I've ever read that the client reserves the right to not publish the work in the end for whatever reason. If the project is cancelled before your work is complete, usually the contracts stipulate your payment in that scenario.

For sure it would suck to be so excited but can't talk about it because you signed an NDA, but unless you didn't read your contracts, there's no surprise about it.

LOL I’m just messing around you know I appreciate your posts, you always provide insightful commentary and logic which we need especially in the midst of a messy era with disgruntled fans:hug:

swissman is like the meme of the girl getting hit with volleyballs, except he’s catching them all and throwing them right back.

New merch for LA, a shirt with the I'm That Girl mv on it again :rip:

Did anyone seat in section 9 for the tour as I heard someone said the viewing wasn’t the best due the lights, can anyone confirm or deny :giraffe:

2013:

"I started my own company when I decided to manage myself. It was important that I didn't go to some big management company, I felt like I wanted to follow the footsteps of Madonna and be a powerhouse and have my own empire, and show other women when you get to this point in your career you don't have to go sign with someone else and share your money and your success—you do it yourself."

2021:

"I took control of my independence at 27 and started Parkwood Entertainment. At the time, there wasn’t a company that did what I needed it to do or ran the way I wanted it run. So, I created this multipurpose badass conglomerate that was a creative agency, record label, production company, and management company to produce and work on projects that meant the most to me. I wanted to manage myself and have a company that put art and creativity first."

I don't really see her dissolving a decade of work just so that we can get more album covers and better quality t-shirts or single sent to radio which does NOT take a major label to do. She seems pretty content with how she's doing things, otherwise she would not be doing them. In this scenario she'd either have to give up her total creative freedom (would she do that just to be under a big label when she already works with Columbia?) OR find a deal giving her complete control, but wouldn't that just get her back to where she was with Parkwood, but with less ownership and splitting the profits with a corporation?

Well unfortunately Parkwood isn't working out, the artists signed under them are also left to dry out, even Chloe was shady towards them once her album was released and had no support. Now they're sitting on a year old project that no streaming company wants to buy and instead of just releasing it on youtube for the fans, we are left in the dark. You can have creative freedom AND a label who knows how to market your work, there is no good reason why they couldnt send Heated to radio for the summer, no reason why America has a problem wasn't sent to radio when it went viral, why did Cuff It have to be FORCED to be a hit? since she was ready to send "church girls" to radio for whatever reason.

We need someone to tell Beyoncé no, and push her to release SOMETHING. Madonna also signed back to Warner Music just two years ago, so maybe this will inspire her again that labels can work in your favor

I love swissman, despite the fact we seem to go back and forth a lot. Back when I'd mainly just lurk atrl I'd love his in-depth analysis in threads, and still do

So I hope I'm not sounding like a swisshater when I reply :giraffe:

what Madonna does works for Madonna. Beyonce is totally different, she has already done the singles release, promotion for a single, performances, etc. ever since '4' she has made it her goal to move on her own time instead of when someone else does. I understand we all want Beyonce to win, but let's keep in mind sis has been doing this for over 20+ years and it gets exhausting. Imagine sending a single to radio, while on tour, tweaking the tour while it's happening, and then having to promote a song at radio. Beyonce has 3 children and genuinely couldn't care less about selling or promoting much of anything.

I truly believe she's trying to hold on to what makes her want to do this. we see it all the time how artists become discouraged bc they put so much pressure on themselves to sell records or appeal to their fans. I do believe she's a perfectionist and the visuals are coming, but it's all on her time and it has been like that since '4'. I'm truly puzzled as to why everyone is acting as though all of the sudden she doesn't want to promote. She hasn't wanted to do much promotion except tour and release mv films. she doesn't even do interviews or photoshoots.

all of this wouldn’t have been an issue if they just didn’t act as if visuals existed for it

This day and age it's so easy to get a hit, all she has to do is send the song to radio. Then have her assistant post some Heated clips from the tour on tiktok and I guarantee you it would go top 10 especially in the summer

she got a number 1 single without performing it once or releasing a video. she clearly doesn't want it.

the visuals have been confirmed, I just think the GP as well as The Beyhive are frustrated with her just not releasing them after teasing them  for so long. which is valid, but at some point you just give up and wait. at least when the visuals come they will bring a resurgence to the album. think about how many peope release an album that dies out within 6 months. videos and all.

I think section numbers change depending on the venue but I was front row in section 9 (center of the floor). I thought my view was incredible and my irl friends were gagged when they saw it on my social.

that said, I am looking forward to club renaissance. I think that's THE place to be.
