Ms. Stiff does light-up bracelets. They give every person in the audience one as they enter through the gates, and they let them keep it. (when I went to the Rep*tation Tour, she had buckets to collect and reuse/recycle them as we exited. when I went to her current tour, they didn't seem to have that option. #fucksustainability)

I believe she's using the same technology as Coldplay aka Bey's favorite white man Chris. based on the bracelet's location, it can light up in different colors. I was on the floor so got to see the different colors and patterns, it was a cute addition to the show that really plays into the parasocial aspect, making fans feel like they're part of the show.

yes, this is what I think too. especially for things like that Alien Superstar light show and the laser effect she has throughout the interludes. however, they can turn them on/off for certain parts, so she could have done it if she wanted to. it's just an additional cost for an already expensive ass show and a sizable increase in the show's carbon footprint, since the bracelets are rendered entirely useless once the show is over (unless they collect, clean and replace batteries to reuse them).

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

I Miss You. Because it was actually a great song but now it’s a skip.
Start Over, I Was Here and Rather Die Young were always bad. So there’s no room to age badly

I Care was bad but her live performances brought live to it, so it’s been aging well :clap3:

The rest of the album is a discography highlight though :jonny4:

i care was never BAD bad it just sounds cheap production wise and lifeless, a garageband teas without the added electric guitars and big live drums

adding those huge dramatic drums to the intro and sprinkling the guitars throughout the verses is one of the best things she’s ever done :clap3:

The same 3 Swifties lurk in here all the time. :dies:

They too scary to chime in, but lurk for ammo. Yet 2 of 3 wanna claim to like Bey so why not join the discussion. :foxaylove3:

I just realized that it was controversial for her to bend in front of Jay Z in Deja Vu video :rip:

we’ve come a long way

both of these songs get some flak in the base (sometimes by me), but this performance popped up on my YouTube and just made me cry again. rip Kobe, Gianna & friends.

great song choices, incredible arrangement, such diligent changes to the lyrics... one of her best "ballad girl" moments. the geepee forget about stuff like this when they use their whole "so and so is a better singer, Beyoncé just twerks and talk-sings" shtick.

the dramatic intro is much better than the actual song :rip:

same for thique’s AUIYM outro being 10 times better than the actual one :bird:

I’m so obsessed with that little move Blue does when Bey sings “Honey come around my way, around my hive” during BP

When it first dropped I was like “wait I’ve heard this before.” I went online and checked and it turned out to be a MASSIVELY popular dancehall that wasn’t even two years old at that point. :skull:And don’t get me wrong I don’t have a problem with sampling, it’s just they did little to no work to make it sound unique or original compared to Pon De Floor.

she turned it into an actual SONG...there's no lyrics or vocals there.

OT: BTINH was dated on arrival. It was nothing but a failed attempt at recreating an Irreplaceable 2.0. However, I love the vocals and the outro :heart2:

I also adore both Start Over and I Was Here. On top of that, I still consider Run The World to be Bey's best lead single of all times.

I need her to perform Start Over live. It would be a vocal peak.
