i literally said "i don't think". if she performed it once it clearly was meant to be in the show.

We shall see, mama. :lakitu: I’m a delusional stan. And I always get myself to eventually justify everything she does.

And right now, I’m getting comfortable with the reality of those songs never coming back that way it hurts less if they don’t. Because she’s Mother and knows exactly what’s she’s doing. :date3:

This what I’m talking about. No one knows. :fan:

But no hard feelings, I appreciate the effort at putting together the pieces. Like I said, we just gonna have to deal. Even if those songs are off permanently. :jonnycat:

My assumption is for sure not confirmed but I think that cutting songs between video interludes is 100% easier for everyone involved than cutting one song here, one song there when needed and relative to the song's importance within the tour. It just makes sense. I really doubt cutting those songs is her thinking those songs are the three worst songs on the setlist and should be cut.

I wonder why she skips the 'So use me, pursue me/Kiss me where you bruise me /Taste me, that fleshy part I scream so loud, I curse the stars' during Virgo's Groove

It's one of the best parts and cutting it kinda ruined the flow of the song. Could she not make the performance 10 seconds longer? :skull:

If she came down from that shell for the second part of the song and danced some this would've been a 10/10 performance.

Oh well, miss Blow will have to continue to reign supreme I guess :cm:

Unfortunately Virgo's Groove is probably the biggest letdown for me because the huge expectations I had for it. Still a good moment, but it definitely didn't translate the way I anticipated.

In defense mode over everything. I'm not entertaining these stan whackadoos. They just gonna be mad. In here acting like I asked her ass to perform That's How You Like It. :deadbanana2:

Also, I don't trust anyone who doesn't want to see and hear Baby Slay. Like, wtf is wrong with YOU???

beyoncé set a standard so high for herself she's now being accosted by her OWN fans for not being good enough.

it's kinda crazy when u think about it :rip:

lmao fair enough. mother loves to play mind games indeed

As someone who attended the show I can safely say the regular setlist (ITG & onwards) translated remarkably live. A complete 180 from the choppy IG lives y'all are likely basing your opinions on. I don't agree that she should cut any songs in favour of bigger hits on the regular setlist apart from maybe the opening segment, which was still incredible vocally.

That and Cuff It for me as well.

On the other hand, Energy and Move are such highlights of the show for me :deadbanana2:

Who would've thought nnn

This base is often used as if Beyoncé our doll meant only to enact OUR whims when we want, how we want them, and doesn't often allow that she is artist of her own autonomy who can and SHOULD be doing only and exactly what she wants at this point of her more than legendary career. Having feelings, letdowns, or critiques are always valid, but often it comes in the form of pages after pages of derision. It's generally not constructive or imaginative, like making suggested changes based on your desires. It's often rude and nasty.

And we've been doing it before the era even started. And then the debate over the album cover. Rants about the lack of promo. Meltdowns because the tour wasn't announced. etc. etc. etc.

And this is perhaps her qualitative best era when looking at the material, and if not that, then it's on par with her best. There is so much to enjoy but often it seems like all we discuss is what we don't enjoy, and for many of us that is not very fun discussion.

Many of us will defend her or will try to explain what people have outright said they want explained. So what's the issue in contributing to the conversation with a bit of positivity? We don't get points for defending her, nor does anyone else for having critiques.

Justice for BB, 6 In, Hold Up, and every other iconic, legendary song left to fend for themselves. Twas nice knowing you. You shall forever have a live moment in my heart and mind.

Anyway, I got cussed out by my sis cause I made her buy these expensive ass tickets just for a few songs and she's been lighting my ass up cause those aren't on the setlist. :jonny: So yeah, I understand the argument regarding what the GP was expecting. It'll be nothing but René during our workouts now and she's going to kill me cause "Church Girl isn't it" and honestly, I don't even know why she's my sister. The disrespect is...but I'm gonna hold on so she can eat her words in August like my other sis did.

Renaissance >>>>>>>>>> whatever the virgo's groove segment is called > Motherboard > Anointed > Mind Control > Encore > Opening act >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> opulence

i'd rather hear RDY than IIWAB...i'm not going to pretend that i care about the locals opinions

the only hit i'd like to hear is probably "Irreplaceable" & thats b/c its been gone for like 10 years. and i remember during MCSWT...I was tired of that song.

i'd like to see "Single Ladies" but only with a new arrangement

you said this much better than i would've lol

Fans tried to tell me a few pages back that the random songs went over my head lololololol.. No Bey is just random and we get she's performing it because she wants to. HOWEVER there are better songs to choose from.

Some of us vent lightly, but every critique is taken to heart and that's the problem. A little discernment will go a long way with regards to how people respond to others. That's it. Be grown. That's it. If someone is in here day after day after day complaining, yeah. Light their asses up. This my first day posting in almost a week, fam. I'm not one of THOSE posters.

But not everyone is as serious as a lot of you all. And that is also another point. It's never that deep. Fonts need to watch how they respond to others, period, and these arguments wouldn't get so intense.

Have to agree on this. I was envisioning her with a Donna Summer wig coming down on a giant disco ball refracting the lights as a giant dance party featuring her dancers commences below her. Then she eventually comes down to meet them and they have a giant studio 54 moment.

Would honestly be a better tour closer than Summer Renaissance.

LISTEN.. Her performing lift off is the equivalent of performing That's how you like it. It's not like those songs are seeing increases in streaming. At least help your catalog with the fan favorite gems like Mine, jealous, runnin, etc.

Folks be making up **** because they don't actually know why she's not performing her legit biggest hits. It's ok to admit that somethings just don't make sense. Maybe she's tired of performing those songs, but to only perform ONE of your #1s on tour is just weird. No matter how you look at it. I can understand letting SL go because it's too dance heavy, but the others? Nah. I really don't understand.

I concur that Halo should always be there. Tiring as it is, that is a staple in her career and one of the most nostaglic hits of the century. Irreplaceable should be there as well. Then, we wonder why those type of hits have meh/poor recurrents because she don't be acknowledging them.

pertaining to the setlist, the only things i would change are obviously bring the thique/auiym/dil section back and probably chop flaws n all for a better ballad/slower song in her catalog like me myself & i. other than that i’m pretty content with it

Tbf hits are crucial to a tour let alone a stadium one. Which is why I’m happy Cuff It took off.

I can't even with Lift Off. :lmao: IDC IDC. Hell, I shouldn't have even mentioned BP, cause I like that one. I just miss what I miss. For me, it's not about where the songs go on the charts. But your OG classics...come on mane!! Now let sis stop performing CIL and watch how people flip out. Then the complaints gonna be valid, huh?

And wait, wasn't Running big in Europe? She had them people listening to her perform Black Parade though. She's a troll. A troll, your honor. LMAO Quite frankly, she has too many great songs, singles and deep cuts. No matter, someone somewhere would be missing some song. No matter what. Everyone won't be 100% pleased.

I'm just glad she's enjoying herself and I wish people would stop saying this is a farewell tour. Not with the OG classics not being on the setlist, it is. FOH. She'll be back again.
