How long did y’all wait before playing Renaissance out of order? For me it wasn’t until recently like maybe Dec/Jan. Even now I still play tracks in a row. For example if I want to listen to Virgo I play Plastic first. Or if I want to listen to Heated I play Move

THE ONLY TIME I can is if I’m on a time crunch. In those cases I’ll listen to cuff it/energy/bms or just Virgo’s groove.

I played it strictly in order for the like first 2 weeks or so

 

occasionally i'll play it in order but its mostly random & i start with the songs i feel like hearing the most and shuffle it around

 

"Lemonade" is the only album that i feel like i HAVE to play it in order when i listen to it

she is eating good on Apple Music

After the first listen. I only have so much time in a day to listen to music. Why would I waste my time listening to bad songs (move, cozy, all up in your mind, pure/honey, thique, Alien superstar) in an order i never had a say in to begin with

CUFF IT has become a big enough hit that regular people on the street know it and thats so amazing considering Beyonce was an IT girl in the late 90s.

 

Her staying power is so strong when you really stop and think about it. She's in her 4th decade of music so she is comparable to Cher, Barbara, Tina, Madonna at this point and still being able to get hit singles really propelled those ladies to new generations including me and likely some of you.

 

This is such an important era and all things considered its going well, especially since CUFF IT did the work I wanted BMS to do. I hear CUFF IT referenced a lot!!!
