I’m cool with a tour coming later I just want the music.

:clownny:

Honestly, OTR II was a huge rehash of her older stuff so I think releasing an album this year then doing a Netflix live performance and touring maybe next year or the year after with new music would be a good idea.

She'd have EIL, The Gift, B7 and B8 (or an EP or something else), all her collabs + her back catalog to revamp an entirely new show.

I had fun at their last joint tour, but it was a lot we had already seen. I think the next one is gonna be fresh.

Yeah I don’t buy that she’s building the release around the tour. Ticket bundles aren’t a thing for Billboard so there’s no chart incentive, and didn’t she embark on a tour months before she dropped Self-Titled?

She’s Beyoncé so I’m sure she could sell out stadiums even if tickets don’t go on sale until a year after the album’s out

I'm certain she is not releasing because of covid cases still being high everywhere right now. I'm sure she wants to tour with the album right away or at least plan the tour around it. It is simply NOT safe to tour right now. It's risking to expose an entire crew to covid when they work closely for weeks to set up the show and herself getting it. I could see why she's been patient and still waiting for things to be more stable. When that time comes, i'm sure she will have the highest grossing tour ever. You can feel that people have missed seeing her live and are waiting for her.  Business wise i totally understand why she is still waiting and hiding her cards music wise. Once things get better and she releases that feel good, energetic album, she will totally win the game.

Bs, bs and more bs.

What about the concept of doing an era more than  1 week after dropping the album? She could easily drop the album, do a virtual live performance for the songs of her new album and then anounce the world tour in advance. As mentioned, COVID aint going no where. Numbers will likely decrease during summer and increase during fall/winter anyway. We'll all catch it anyway at one point. So whats the point of waiting? There is none.

See it from this perspective: All major art productions have started working again - whether it be theatre plays, Musicals, broadway shows, music concerts, etc.. u have major Sport competition going on for months during the pandemic and it is working. CoVID is literally NO excuse for Miss Bey to put her entire brand and production on hold for 3 years, especially not in mid 2022 anymore. I understand other reasons, but COVID isn't one.

This is supposed to be on Beys Level? My god, imagine Bey mumbling through one of her sets like that. Shed be torn to shreds for sth like that.

Yes the dancing and staging is cute, but shes got a long way ahead of hers to come close to Bey

I don’t agree that she is on par to Bey’s level, but I think it’s important to give credit where credit is due, and Doja most definitely deserves some flowers for her hard work. We will never get another superstar who is able to be the triple threat of dancing, stage production, and live vocals that Bey does, but compared to the rest of these lazy modern pop stars, Doja puts in some ounce of effort into performing which I greatly appreciate.

It's hard  to praise others because compared to what Bey does, everyone comes across so mediocre on stage:fan:

I agree for sure, I really like Doja as a performer and I hope people let her flourish on her own because these comparisons arent doing her any favors.

Shes great at doing what she does and she still has room to grow.

See this would be amazing :duca: and I’m still sick I missed OTR2 it was basically Beychella on tour. She has sooooo much material/hits.

I don’t think people meant it was actually on par with Beychella. But in terms of production, hype, and bops it gave a similar energy. But every decent female act at Coachella will be compared to Beychella. :spin:

Another Friday without new Beyoncé music, and more B royalties are rolling in:

Two weeks ago we had Fivio Foreign (What's My Name), and since 2020 we've had:

- ArrDee "Flowers (Say My Name)"

- AJ Tracey "Coupé" (interpolated "Independent Women P.1)

- Don Toliver "Had Enough" (Samples The Carters "Summer")

- A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie "Act Like That"

- James Blake "When We're Older" (Tweaked cover of "Otherside")

She's running a brisk royalty business.

Thats all

I like the overall pacing of original too, but I tweaked it to add the deluxe/bonus tracks.

After lots of playing around with it, this is what worked for me:

 (1) I put I Was Here at the end, (2) added "Schoolin Life" between RTW(G) and I Was Here, (3) put "Lay Up Under Me" between "Love On Top" and "Countdown", (4) placed "Dance For You" between Rather Die Young and Start Over, and put "Dreaming" between Start Over and Love On Top. *Chef's Kiss*

TLDR:

1. 1+1

2. I Care

3. I Miss You

4. Best Thing I Never Had

5. Party

6. Rather Die Young

7. Dance For You [New]

8. Start Over

9. Dreaming [New]

10. Love On Top

11. Lay Up Under Me [New]

12. Countdown

13. End Of Time

14. Run The World (Girls)

15. Schoolin' Life [New]

16. I Was Here

A few more uptempos at the end, traverses through different eras of pop/R&B in a methodical fashion, and eliminates the jarring transition from I Was Here to RTW(G) while strengthening the end nostalgia message. (its transition cousin All Night to Formation was done better)

Is this a recording studio, rehearsal studio, or film studio? The fact that the street has been shut down all week makes me want to think it’s for something bigger than just recording music.

Ok so it’s not a music recording studio.

Can't believe it's been 6 years since the most monumental album of all time, and my favourite Beyoncé album was released. The last time she released solo music as well. Between the tour and the phenomenal performances, it would have to be my favourite era of hers. I will never forget seeing her live for the FWT. Still the best concert I've ever attended.

This would be a dumb move. Lots of tours are going ahead and doing great. She should just release the album and work on another one and your then with both.

These claims of her team filming something are all getting debunked :ace:

A fall album release then tour in 2023 could be cute. She could even split it by touring Latin America & Australia in Jan-March, then US & Europe in the summer. +400M tour here we come! :jonnycat:

Nah but fr B7 tour should be more than just North America and Europe. I feel bad for the Hive overseas.

Why doesnt she do Oceania? Shed easily do well.

I think Asia may be questionable, she's ignored the market for so long. Idk how she'd do

She probably just.....hasn't finished the album. She's not at the stage of her career where she needs to be dropping new material all the time. She's released FOURTEEN album projects including DC albums, DC Greatest Hit, solo albums, movie soundtracks, and collab album with her husband. She's at the point where she has nothing left to prove so why not take her time with a carefully crafted project even if it takes a long time? After all it's only been less than 3 years since The Gift and that was basically a whole Beyonce studio album. Certainly one of her most cohesive and adventurous projects.

While this sounds accurate on paper, the difference with projects such as EIL and TG is that she basically just dropped them and then didnt do anything apart from.that. this results in us, as fans, not having the feeling that these were proper eras. Thats why we feel so starved out.
