I think it seems likely she could put it out on Thanksgiving Day, and announce the tour the following day, on black friday.

Is it possible the film contains stuff for ACT II, and it'll also be released around the same time?  I can't imagine doing two big films like this.  We also know that she recorded the acts during covid, and I feel like a component might be a documentary, why else would SYD be in it?  Also, the group that worked on Virgo stated they can't talk much about the way the song came about.

I think there is a lot more about this project that we just have no idea about, and it'll all make sense when it's released.

This general conundrum you and @PrettyHurts both are talking about is a real issue. Three potential albums with visuals for all makes very little sense.

Which is why the most appealing theory to me is still that act i - Renaissance, act ii - country album (rodeo - watch her call the music country trap) and act iii- is a film - maybe a documentary, with videos for songs from both projects.

Do you guys think she will do act ii - documentary? And then iii the album? Or maybe a documentary in the middle which isn't an act at all and just pushes Renaissance for Grammys while act ii - rodeo and iii a full film which is videos for music from both albums?

Listen I'm just guessing I know none of it is smooth, but *no* option is.

Honestly I'm the opposite. A bunch of fun videos is not really a "film" its just a video collection. At which point just release the videos separately. From a personal standpoint that's less interesting to me as a film but also the GP has shown they don't really have any interest in hour long video collections. You need drama and narrative to keep anyone other than stans engaged.

Also weiving into together gives us more art from Bey. Like the prelude poetry section to Hold Up which is a career highlight.

Although I get what you're saying in terms of wanting it to be fun. I have a feeling black/POC queerness is going to be quite center to the film and I don't want it to be preachy, overbearing or just full of soundbites of queer voices. I'm happy for real issues to rear their head (Like I think BMS is going to touch on burn out etc) but it should ultimately be exciting, universally relatable and a form of escapism.

Yeah there needs to be overarching “story” or else she should’ve just done what she did with self titled like what’s the point of calling it a film then? If she goes all out with the narrative and there’s dialogue and everything then WHOA

I truly think there are two albums, ACT I and ACT II

And the third component is something recorded while making the albums, like a documentary that may also incorporate visuals for the music.

She teased B7 and B8, but no B9.

She's so irritating though like just be normal and give us 3-4 videos for the singles :deadbanana4: We don't need videos for Ache Up In Your Ear bffr

I agree completely. I've posted this theory in here many times and I still think it makes most sense.

1 and 2 are albums and act 3 is likely a documentary.

If we go by this. When do you think we get rodeo? I was hoping/thinking December but I feel it might be too soon

I'm not sure.  Maybe before Christmas, or in the late winter?

Will she release ACT II and the visual together?  Will she let ACT II sit like she did ACT I?

:biblio::biblio::biblio: well i do.

AUIYM slander will never not be embarrassing

The only reason AUIYM gets streamed is because it's in the middle of two good songs and is short :toofunny3:

Can anyone explain to me what they don't like about AUIYM?

The intense production, the raspy vocal delivery, the background vocals, the conviction in the lyrics, the way the chorus builds and builds at the end. I honestly think it's a perfect song that immediately made sense to me and my opinion on it has never changed. I don't get the hate at all

I love it too, especially in Dolby.  The production is amazing, and I love the lyrics, they're probably some of her more interesting lyrics.

Also, imagine the video, it has HUGE potential.  She's literally stalking a guy to make him love her, and says she she wont stop at a crime to get all up in his mind.

lyrically, it reminds me of WDYLM or Video Phone. It goes with her common theme of being madly, intensely in love, and convincing her partner she is right for them. So  I love that even though the sound is very different, it's a very Beyoncé song.

I’m just worried that she’ll make something that should be thrilling and fun into something serious and dull all in the name of artistry :deadbanana4:

none of her visuals are dull. literally not a single one.

are y'all good?

im not expecting anything else from giselle except the tour dates.

i genuinely don't think we're getting the film this year.

with all the musical changes happening on the album...AUIYM just kinda stays the same throughout & comes across as anti-climatic. if it was on IASF or ST albums...maybe it would've hit better. but for this album...it doesn't IMO.

I'd be happy if ACT III was a documentary, tbh.

I'm all for new music, but two albums (with the potential for both to be visual albums) is enough to keep me tied over and I would love to see a documentary.

Also has anyone considered the flowers Syd got were referencing the POTS of the documentary? I'm just not sure why she'd star in the film.

it's giving "IASF: Deluxe Re-Release Anniversary Edition [Japan Edition] Bonus" track :pukey: Just cheaply produced, nasty, dated, and LOUD.

i'm so glad Alien Superstar is nothing like this or the Renaissance album...i fear this is what some might've wanted

aside from the album release.....the tracklisting reveal was one of the most exciting days

i just knew the album was going to be fun & campy

Not MJ’s son saying Beyoncé is the closest successor to Michael :jonnycat:

Why do this forum hates Beyoncé so much? Literally I would understand if this was like 10 years ago. The Hive was so aggressive, braggy and begged to get dragged by shading every artist under the sun. However, I feel like we are so peaceful now aday, and just keep it to ourselves, yet every stan base seems to be trying Beyoncé lately. Imagine if she’s flopping hard? :rip:

i think its clear shes going to feature a lot of queer black people in this. hence the shea coulee tweet, and now this.

So basically a Chrom*tica song.

Yeah, I'm glad it turned out nothing like that embarrassing pile of shite.

I still can’t crack the code on the Act i, Act ii, Act iii as it pertains to the topic of visuals. I get she said she “recorded a 3 part project” but how in the hell?! Why do visuals for 1 act or two acts and not all 3? It’s impossible to shoot 42 videos in a short span.  With the “delay” it would make sense if all three acts came out and the visual was a body of work that melded them together without having to visually represent every song with a full video.

unless Act I is the album. Act ii is the videos, and act iii a documentary film.

I kinda hate her for making this so ambiguous.

The way this era is going I’m in between…

act i - album

act ii - visual

act iii - tour/documentary

OR

act i - album

act ii - album

act iii - album

even tho they basically said its 3 albums but the rollout and timing is my questioning. :rip:
