So far my top 5 is still AHAP, Heated, Pure/Honey, AS, and Cuff it. Those were automatically my favorite.

 

I will say that Cozy, Church Girl and AUIYM drastically fell down the list, while POTS/VG and ITG are my current obsessions

Heated has the most explicit reference to her uncle, so I’m not surprised she’d want it to have something - though I don’t think the Grammys even have a category that it neatly fits within.

They should have I fear. But I do think that having it in dance makes it more likely that a new subset of voters will give the album serious consideration and may lean towards it in the AOTY race, even if she loses the genre Grammy.

Exactly. I guess based on the era she been taking risks so she continuing it thru award season. 

 

I just thought if she wanted to sweep Progressive R&B would’ve been great.

Right. Any pop category is automatically going to Adele or Harry. If it was Pop Song instead of Pop Solo she could have submitted Alien Superstar, but her spoken word is not a contender against the ten-week-#1 power ballad.

How do you guys think they display their 53 Grammys? Chronologically? By genre category? Do they have separate areas for Jay, Bey, and Blue?

The noms aren't bad. I do think Beyonce has what it takes to dominate the pop category. But its also a given she would have dominated r&b if the album was submitted there. 

 

Now there shouldnt be any excuses on Bey splitting the vote. And with Silk Sonic dropping their noms, they're out the race. There's really only Kendricks album and his is not sticking like his previous. 

 

It'll be an interesting year. Cause the AOTY darling in previous years is not the clear choice this year. Everyone knows it and will find any excuse NOT to vote for Bey. Get ready.

I can’t believe they addressed this issue. Yvette must have a lot of time on her hands now since there are no visuals to launch and no tour to announce 

 

So he was payed and still made posts like that....yikes.

If the rumours are true about the country and rock albums, I wonder if she is planning to try for different Grammy categories for each album. Dance for Renaissance, Country categories for the next and Rock for the following one.
