Bey should absolutely be dragged for this we constantly fight tooth and nail to defend how she is constantly invested in her projects and she couldn’t even bother to double check that the people who helped style her album cover were paid??? This isn’t some random outfit in a music video it’s the first image people see when they stream/buy the album and nobody bothered to pay them?
 

I can’t wrap my head around this… Everything about this era is extremely unprofessional.

My Renaissance collector's edition vinyl finally arrived. I wanted to open it up and take a listen on a proper sound system but now I don't want to tarnish it. Plus, I don't have a record player. Anyone have any recs for one? 

 

Also trying to get my hands on a Butterfly 25 vinyl too, but maybe I should by dupes so I have an unsealed version lying around somewhere.

That’s why she hires people, to deal with payments.  it’s still not a good look. 

I think Marni has too much to lose to lie like that. 

 

I wonder if the real issue is he's mad he wasn't given credit in Bey's insta posts. He specifically mentions she "didn't credit him"

Unfortunately not, I do know they had some reshoots like two months ago, but no clue on release. Also Alien Superstar video had lots of looks, and had parts that took place in a futuristic bar with Beyonce on the counter top.  But that's all I got.

I think they fantasize about becoming friends with her and how this new connection is going to completely change their lives, then when the fantasy doesn't match up with reality they get pissed.

 

It's honestly not much different than how this base treats her  They create expectations then get mad at her when they don't materialize.

 

On another random note, I just realized today Alien Superstar lyric video has flashes of green the same shade as #that infamous outfit she's wearing in the trailer. I wonder if that's what it was for.

1. Kelis was paid and credited

2. The white guys were paid and credited

3. They attempted to pay the designer and i saw all their stuff all over socials right after the album dropped so I think someone somewhere credited her. It’s not the same situation as music where you get royalties anyways

 

Beyoncé is not stupid enough to **** people’s money up. In a situation like this it wouldn’t even have been her fault anyway, thus the designer coming after Marni

It's so annoying. This girl is about to get another SOLO top 10 hit. They let fans of flop artists who have been struggling for a decade drag Bey and put her name in mess. They literally doubt her every damn day and come crawling back when the mess is quickly debunked. STAN UP!!! Stop holding Bey to a higher moral ethics than these girls do for themselves or their faves.

Yep, I saw that mess. Some of the very same “stans” in here defended it by saying Beyoncé doesn’t know or care, and literally the next day she acknowledged the leak and thanked the fans that reported the leaks and/or did not listen to them. Hate to say it, but her ATRL fanbase fuckin sucks.
