Holy crap. I can't believe Cuff It is about to catch BMS on Spotify and AM U.S. All it needs is a proper push and radio and it'll be top 10 on the hot 100.

The album will remain top 10 for a 7th week, though probably somewhere at #8.

 

I can't see the album leaving the Top 10 before we get visuals. Vinyls will be out soon too.

I love how housewives like Ayan, Drew, Marlo etc. use songs of Renaissance in their instagram videos.

Tbh Cuff it was my least fav of the album. Now I really love it.

Kinda confuse why her team isn’t trying to push cuff it on radio. Unless act ii will be out soon and they don’t want another single from act i to ruin its run

It’s annoying. Cuff It is probably her most radio friendly song in ages. Could see it being number 1 on radio tbh.

They need to release albums and tours at the same time from now on. Idc if the albums are 6 years apart. 

 

BTW i don't think any of us need all these videos. 3-4 videos is perfectly fine. Everything is getting pushed back and held up and ruining the entire era. What's the point of a BMS video now like who cares anymore. 

Sending the song to the radio is the easiest thing she could do but she just didn't

Bey won't be doing any promo because all she's looking forward to is her retirement. She will push out these three albums, do the tour and announce her retirement from recording. She will still dip into showbusiness on the odd occasion but will be fully focused on her family. Jay is practically already there, he's just waiting for Bey to join him.

I said this three pages ago and got jumped lol. Even Serena retired.... symbolically it's only time for the reigning QUEEN to maybe want a breath of fresh air.

They wasted the lead single too but is anybody ready for that conversation?

 

BMS is leaving the Top 10 after only 10 weeks, despite sitting at #1 for 2 weeks because it's potential was wasted. The song got no promo, and sat on the charts with no video out. Not to mention it was unceremoniously pulled from radio and will continue to drop afterward. It's a #1 hit that'll sit ridiculously low on the YE Chart. And that's thanks to how they handled it.

 

This was supposed to be her first huge commercial single since her IASF era and it looked like they were ready for that coming into things. Then they completely dropped the ball.

 

If they can treat a lead single like that what makes you think they'll do anything more for other potential singles like CUFF IT or AS. The latter was viral for weeks afterwards and they started removing viral tweets themselves

 

Dropping all the videos will help the longevity of the album, but I don't think they'll be pushing for any more singles. 

 

The album is doing well because of 2 reasons.

 

1. It's Beyoncé 

2. It's great

 

They're handling the era terribly, and at this point Lil Nas X and Camilla Cabello have been the first to give us live performances or RENAISSANCE.  Last i heard she was in LA so at least she's back in the US. 

The thought of her retiring.  It would make sense to do it while you’re on top. But I want a Madonna length career minus the embarrassment. 

Im curious to see how this thread is going to defend her after she let CUFF IT die like they did ALIEN (technically it’s still going but you get my point)

The videos with Camilla have well over 3M views if you combine them. Black Twitter has been trashing her even though there’s nothing wrong with what she did

She needs hit singles to get longevity on streams. It looks like there won’t be anymore singles.  it’s sad she doesn’t put the effort in to promote her work.

I'm perfectly fine with Camilla promoting it since Neck won't. Some of the Hive or black twitter sphere need to stop gatekeeping in some instances. We want people to enjoy the music. We want her to get back to her worldwide appeal and all types of people are going to listen.

With a little push since day1, she could’ve had 3 songs stable in the top30. At least CUFF IT is coming while the videos are close, that could help.
