Beyoncé

It’s honestly redundant to keep complaining about her reclusiveness. I understand and even agree with the critiques, however if she hasn’t changed her ways the last few years what makes you think she’ll suddenly change in the blink of an eye? Yvette might’ve promised a “traditional rollout” (a damn lie) but Bey never promised that:cm:  All we can do is enjoy what we get as everything rolls out, complaining about it repeatedly is beating a dead horse and can get exhausting.

People who defend her every decision are annoying but so are people who who nitpick every single decision she ever does, we gotta have a healthy balance!:supaspaz:

We have an album that is being received well both critically and commercially, we know that visuals are on their way, an alleged tour, album commentary, we just have to play the waiting game and eventually enjoy and discuss this upcoming content. Let parkwood do their job (as badly as they do) and let’s just enjoy what we have. Having an album with silence from her>>>No album and silence from her:cm:

  • It was the best concert of my life, bar none. Idc!    It was extraordinary, it was ineffable.  I knew I loved it based on the videos but I... Hey I don't know.    Best moment

I know this award is a joke but the point is, she has cemented herself in history with the likes of Whitney and Lauryn. And on top of that she won an award for a genre that completely ridiculed and ex

Didn't Beyoncé literally tell us last year that she was at the "other side" of her sacrifice and ready to prioritize her personal life over her professional one?

She hasn't been subliminal at all about it. We should just be happy that she didn't drop everything at once and actually still have the era to look forward to.

Her not "promoting" (it seems like you guys are using the traditional sense of performances and interviews). Renaissance isn't an issue. It's 2022, no one is sitting down for talk show interviews :rip: And I most certainly do NOT want her attending the VMAs. The complete joke award show since 2016.

The issue is the videos still MIA. It is honestly annoying. What are they waiting for?? The album to be out of the top 10? :psyduck:

This!!!

And I will be pissed if Morgan Wallen passes her next week.

Heated which was my least favourite for a long time is now an absolute stand out. Especially hearing it played twice in a club I think it really has magic smash potential. I've reevaluate my singles choices and definitely want it pushed on urban radio at least.

Being out with my friends for a whole weekend really put things in perspective and I really couldn't care less about promo at this point.

The album is doing exactly what it was meant to do. The clubs are loving it and playing non singles, she's reaching non fans with her reinvention. BMS is a smash, the album sales are holding up and there's plenty more fun to look forward to. Everything is going well. Its hilarious to comeback to people stressed about not enough weeks at number 1....

I mean I get it if you're in s country which has been less receptive the album but if you're in the anglophere its doing amazing

I'm more interested in single treatments then any formal promo, but it looks like they're doing things right this time with AS being lined up next. And the visuals are coming when they're ready... which is soon.

My only concern is I hope the visuals are as excellent, uniqie and alive as the music. Either way Ren is going to have better legs then any album since IASF in the US/UK and Australia

no y’all spilled heated went OFF at the club. that cuff it and break my soul had the crowd hot :WAP:

i agree like go to the club and y’all will hear the songs and see what they’re meant for (getting y’all ass to go out and have fun) lol i heard cozy in a restaurant today. bey is back :nicole:

Why did it take so long for THIQUE to hit me??? :WAP:

SAME. The intro made me nervous I was worried it was gonna be a throwaway trap song but wow did she prove me wrong, it’s too good:WAP: Thique and summer renaissance took a moment to click for me:WAP:

I completely agree

It’s honestly annoying at this point to come in here to meltdowns. I get the impatience for visuals, but we got a whole 16 track album with an announcement and a real single release. I feel like some of y’all just want to be disappointed.

Beyoncé is never going back to her pre 2013 promotional tactics. What she’s doing right now is working *just* fine, especially because before this era she didn’t even CARE about the commercial success aspect. Now she’s given charthive a little taste and everyone is her manager again telling her what she should be doing when the album is performing just fine.

play the album. enjoy the music. chill. there’s still two more whole projects that have to roll out. It’s not gonna be all at once.

Thique is incredible, the first week it was my top 3 most played, that bridge is unreal

and now we have reached the point where people are complaining about the complaints, such a hilarious cycle

Whew, this songs power over me:jonny5:

we stan the best performer of all time and yet she refuses to perform

we stan the best visual artist of all time and yet we are left in the dark

we stan one of the most marketable artists of all time and yet her cds and vinyls release was botched

not expecting the absolute bare minimum from her and this era is valid

people getting a little frustrated is valid, just like if you want to be a yes man and bend over backwards to defend her, that’s also valid

I was just thinking about this the other day. Kelly had a song on her album featuring Bey and Michelle. Michelle had a song featuring Bey and Kelly. Both in 2013/2014. I've always wondered if they were supposed to have a song together on ST that maybe got scrapped. But yes Bey definitely needs to return the favour.

It was "Superpower", which is why they do all of the backing harmonies and appear in the video.

Rennie truly is a celebration/evolution of her career in a way.

-We see her using her head voice so much more, POTS feels like it was ripped straight out of the dangerously in love era

-Rennie has the same sassy attitude in the lyrics like B’day

-It’s her return to pop music along with further delving into the concept of a triple act album like what Sasha Fierce attempted with the two sides

-Cuff it is literally 4’s older sister, Lay Up Under Me but make it better

-It has a little experimentalism, ITG reminds me a lot of ST’s Ghost

-It experimented with multiple genres like Lemonade, it wasn’t just a house record, it truly was “disco trap” as she mentions in Heated.

-She pulled out rapyonce from EiL’s grave and resurrected her for Thique and AHAP

-Energy and Move easily could’ve been songs for The Gift

It’s truly a celebration of music and her career, her brain is so big and juicy ugh

I wonder if there’s a version where they sing leads with her? I guess we’ll never know.

For RENAISSANCE singles, I'm now thinking:

2. Alien Superstar (Pop - NOW), Cuff It (Rhythmic/International - NOW), Church Girl (Urban - NOW). *Urban AC has "Make Me Say It Again, Girl" quickly climbing up while BMS is currently at #1, and BMS can keep climbing at Hot AC.

3. Plastic Off The Sofa sent to UAC once "Make Me Say It Again" peaks there, and Pure/Honey sent to Dance Radio ONLY (BMS just peaked at #1 there).

4. Cuff It (Added to pop once Alien Superstar peaks and while reaching the top 10 of Rhythmic). Virgos Groove sent to UK radio.

5 (The END). Heated w/ Drake added to Urban/Rhythmic, COZY sent to UK Radio + Summer Renaissance added to Pop.

****DISCLAIMER***? Of course this ENTIRE thing is unrealistic for Beyoncé's current standards, but in the spirit of spreading the wealth around until Christmas, this is what I would do.

A drake remix for Heated would be amazing for urban/rhythmic radio:WAP:
