Avril's currently my 40th most played artist in 2026 with 7 scrobbles.

I saw on Bandaids that Feldmann is also working on a new Goldfinger album. His band and Advil are the biggest artists signed to his label. I doubt he will have time to make them both be ready for a 2026 release.

In 2026? I don't know what to play by her without getting bored after a few minutes. Her whole discography is overplayed in my house.

She really should start releasing B-sides, outtakes, and re-recorded versions, just to give her discography a bit more variation. She's released seven albums, which isn't too bad, but they all came out years apart, so I had enough time to overplay them. When I hear "Complicated" or "Girlfriend" on a playlist, it's an instant skip for me.

Well, I'm still listening to Complicated quite alot and I don't really listen to any new songs. Also thanks to the shuffle, my AM shuffled a lot of her songs and i just didn't skip . She's consistently in my top 5 most play artists and is #2 most of the time.

Let me include myself in this convo, Avril was my 14th most played artist with 143 plays in 2025. Kinda amazing since I just use her older material

It's hard to defend a lazy ass like Melissa. I don't think it's Avril why he left tho. He still posts on Twitter from time to time. atrl is really toxic if you're really into stan wars.

I can't be bothered to defend her past she has a legacy and a few hits. Especially that thread recently, I mean, I like LS and it was a step in the right direction but it was still messy with the vocal production. HAW, bar a few songs was catastrophic to me.

We'll see with what she will surprise us in 2027 2026.
